To support the Commercial Diving Department by performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of leisure and commercial diving equipment. Job Responsibility:

1. Project Support:

- Plan, execute, and monitor refurbishment projects within the Capital Area.

- Assist in the execution of key projects, ensuring alignment with Japanese business standards and practices.

- Monitor project progress and report updates to stakeholders, ensure schedules effectively.

2. Technical Expertise:

- Provide technical input on refurbishment designs, materials, and processes.

- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for refurbishment projects.

- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, operations, safety and quality assurance.

- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documents, and proposals in English and Japanese.

- Strong in Business Japanese communication and written skills to communicate with executives in Japan regional offices.

4. Administrative Duties:

- Handle documentation, reporting, and correspondence related to assigned projects.

- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements as necessary.

- Ensure all activities adhere to local regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business or engineering-related role.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Processing bill of ladings, commercial invoice, packing list and other shipping related documents. Declare tradenet permits, liaising with customers, shipping companies, local vendors and overseas counterparty. Manage entire end to end shipment arrangement.

Your Responsibilities

• Customer Coordination: Engage with clients to address inquiries related to shipments and deliveries, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Customer Support: Offer immediate and courteous responses to all customer requests or issues
• Order Processing: Accurately and swiftly input all job orders into the system.
• Instruction Generation: Create clear job instructions for the operations team based on customer requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Interdepartmental Liaison: Work with various internal departments and external contractors as necessary.
• Operations Planning: Strategically plan operations, such as container trucking for import and export shipments, taking into account the complexity of the cargo, and arrange for special equipment like cranes when needed.
• Vessel Monitoring: Keep a close watch on vessel details through PortNet, updating information as needed.
• Customer Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers to meet their requirements effectively.
• Communication: Promptly respond to emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication.
• Documentation: Prepare job sheets for the creation of customer invoices.
• Knowledge of Import, Export, Haulier Processes and procedures

Job Requirements

• Customer Service Passion: A friendly demeanor and positive attitude, with prior experience in logistics customer service preferred.
• Educational Background: A diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of professional experience.
• Communication Skills: Excellent telephone manners, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Independence: Capable of working autonomously to address and resolve issues related to late deliveries and customer complaints.
• Team Orientation: A customer-focused, collaborative approach, ready to take initiative and shoulder responsibilities.
• Adaptability: Competent in managing ad-hoc and urgent requests in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring prompt responses and smooth service processes.

• Advise customers on vehicle maintenance, repair needs, and service intervals.

• Conduct test drives with customers to identify additional vehicle issues if necessary.

• Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle details on job cards.

• Provide clear service quotes and estimated time for completion.

• Inspect vehicles after repairs and ensure issues are resolved before handover.

• Manage vehicle check-in and check-out processes efficiently.

• Monitor service progress and keep customers informed.

• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve post-repair issues.

• Handle administrative tasks such as cost estimates, billing, and job card closures.

• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.

Requirements:

• Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably in automotive-related fields.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.

• Strong ability to detect basic vehicle faults and issues.

• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in using computer systems to manage customer information and service orders.

• Manage clients’ relations and build contacts with potential clients for new business opportunities.
