Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain cement plant machinery, including crushers, kilns, mills, and packing units, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent plant operations.
• Continuously monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, plant operating procedures, and environmental regulations. Report any incidents or hazards immediately.
• Work with process engineers and plant supervisors to optimize production processes and improve yield and energy efficiency.
• Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for any maintenance or repair jobs.
• Record, analyze, and report operational data, including machinery performance, production rates, and quality control results, to assist with performance reviews and decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to resolve technical issues and support plant improvements.

Main Duties:

As company’s host, acts as a manager of first impressions, ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience entering the company’s Experience Centre. The host reflects our values and embodies our brand, setting the stage for the visitor’s experience. The host helps assess customers’ needs and the reason for their visit. At the same time, they are our showroom guides, helping customers find their way around the showroom so that they can browse with confidence.

Greeting the customer

1. Providing a warm welcome to each and every customer entering our experience centre, making them feel at home

2. Asking customer for their beverage of choice and serving them upon arrival

3. Managing large customer numbers during high traffic in the experience centre

4. Asking customers whether they have scheduled an appointment/test drive and registering correspondingly in lead management system

5. Pulling up and informing our Sales Expert of customer profile if customer is already registered with the company.

Guiding the customer and optimizing their experience

6. Helping customers gain the immersive company’s experience that is right for them, while giving them an overview of the showroom

7. Setting the stage for the experience by performing a high-level assessment of needs at first contact in order to direct customers to the appropriate experience

8. Conducting quick showroom tours at slow traffic

9. Guiding customers to the relevant responsible Expert

10. Performing first-level troubleshooting for dissatisfied customers and directing them towards the right contact person in the experience centre

Serving as a brand ambassador

11. Being the first point of contact and introducing customers to the company through high-level snapshots of brand/product offerings, building anticipation of what is to come

The Host contributes to the team in the following ways

1. Making sure the customer journey starts smoothly

2. Capturing and transferring basic data to back office and Sales Experts

3. Maintaining an overview over the team and communicating needs and resources within the team

4. Actively utilizing times with lower traffic in the showroom for tasks that are not customer centric

5. Searching actively for open tasks during low traffic in the showroom

6. Supporting reception in providing phone service

7. Being the one responsible for the showroom, including exhibition organization together with Sales Experts, and upholding quality standards with regard to appearance

8. Planning the exhibition area in coordination with Sales Managers and Sales Experts to ensure the demonstration vehicle selection is always optimized and up to date with new products and technologies

9. Support all customer experience facilities in the House of Progress as golf and racing simulator

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient level of service to all internal and external guests in line with the Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensuring a high level of liaison is maintained between front office and all other departments within the hotel.
• Deliver a level of personalised service that exceeds not only the expectation of the guests but will add a point of difference from the service provided anywhere else within the Serviced Suites.
• GSTL must always project a professional, business-like appearance by adhering to the uniform and personal hygiene guidelines. Portrays as a role model, assisting Assistant Guest Relations Manager to train and drive the culture of the team along with the Company’s Core Values.
• Allocating the room assignment, reviewing of arrival, VIP’s, amenities, and special requests. Coordinates and communicate with relevant departments to ensure all preference and special request are met.
• To provide supervision, direction, and management of room’s inventory for the Front Office with the objective of ensuring room types of preferences and accommodation is made available upon guest arrival.
• A competent working knowledge of the property management systems (PMS) and Standard operating process are required in performing Front Office tasks, processes, and systems such as registration, cashiering and room assignment while adhere to all company credit policies to ensure that all revenue expected will be received.
• Coordinate rooms related site inspections required by Sales. Monitors the ‘Manual Hold’ and ‘Work Order’ rooms.
• Presence in the guest area during high traffic times to assist the front office employees and to ensure smooth operations.
• To handle guest complains and feedback, and action on necessary steps for service recovery.
• Ensure that DM log is accurately updated.
• To monitor daily and monthly enrollment DISCOVERY Loyalty Program, guest benefits, points submission (if required)
• To check and verify Guest Service Ambassador cashiering and due out at end of every shift in accordance to set forth guidelines and ensure all cash floats are intact.
• Necessary reports must be completed and signed.
• To monitor due out rooms for the day (Departure Report by time) and ensure is cleared by end of the shift.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping Team to ensure discrepancies are identified.
• Train and develop team to the highest possible extend. Ensures that trainings are provided for technical, hospitality, communication, management, and organizational skills.
• Assist in orientation and training of new hires.
• To undertake any other tasks and assignments assigned by the Assistant Guest Relations Manager and Operations Manager.
• Ensure efficiency and the maintenance of operational readiness of equipment and supplies.
• To maintain the overall cleanliness of the Front Office, Lobby, Pacific Lounge and Living Room.
• Plan, organize, coordinate quarterly activities for guest and recommend ideas to enhance guest stay experience.
• To continuously strive and monitor Front Office objectives such as TripAdvisor and TrustYou.
• Process Food and Beverage knowledge and skills to facilitate Pacific Lounge operations during breakfast operations.
• Preforming of office duties such as associate work schedules and timesheets and monthly reports.
