Role Description

Service Advisor:

Basic Qualifications

What Do We Want

• · Min Nitec/Diploma & above in electrical and electronic/ engineering (AC & DC motors, single-phase & three-phase, lead acid & lithium batteries, electrical control circuits, hydraulic system) or equivalent.
• · At least 1-2 years & above of customer service experience in electrical background.
• · Able to read electrical diagram and well verse with electrical repair (Electrical circuit)
• · Posses Class 3 driving license. (If any)

• Coordinate paperwork and processes upon new engines arrival
• Engine Commissioning for all Industrial and Marine Engines
• Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth process of installation
• Troubleshoot if not able to start up during testing
• Escalate if there are any deviation or issues

Before Maintenance or Repair Event for Engines Secure that right information, tools and spare parts are available.

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance related work seeking data and using SDP. 3, diagnostics, MULTI, or other applicable system/tools according to service manual
• Collect, understand and start up work order
• Collect additional information
• Secure access to right tools
• Pick up spare parts

During Maintenance or Repair Event for Engines Through well-known and described working methods and standards perform maintenance or repair on time in a correct and safe way.

• Carry out work in a structured and methodical way according to checklists.
• Prepare Industrial/Marine engines and or components
• Complete visual inspections
• Search for additional information in systems
• Secure spare parts for additional jobs
• Perform maintenance or repair on engines/component
• Manage deviations
• Return not used spare parts
• Clean exchange parts
• Return special tools
• Restore engines to handed-in condition
• Inform next level about additional faults or findings

After Maintenance or Repair Event for Engines Secure minimized lead time of invoicing. Through clear description of performed work and/or communicated what needs to be done if the work is handed over to a colleague.

• Clarify performed work in work order and put signature
• End work order
• Complete handover
• Ensure all job cards, work orders, service sheets and component failure reports are filled and completed correctly.
