Job Description:

• Responsible for manufacturing & maintaining machinery
• Work directly with the fabrication and maintenance of machinery
• Fabricate, operate and repair machines and machine tools
• Setting up machines prior to production as well monitoring and correcting them as needed
• Work with programmers, engineers and manufactures to ensure that machines are functional and efficient
• Must be able to handle physical work, as well having an understanding of the entire production process from beginning to end, regardless of their specialty area
• Technical and problem-solving skills are also essential
• Operate CNC fabrication equipment following engineering and manufacturing prints and documentation making adjustment for production jobs including; setup and operation of all equipment/cranes with stops, clamps, fixtures, tooling and offsets to produce consistent quality parts

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

· Independently repair and troubleshoot pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic lifting equipment

· Assist with emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs

· Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the specified timelines

· Perform additional duties as directed by the Service Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

· ITE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

· 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience in the hoist and crane industry (mandatory)

· Ability to independently repair and troubleshoot pneumatic/electric hoists and electric overhead travelling cranes

· Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is required

· A proactive, can-do attitude, strong multitasking abilities, self-motivation, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a supervisor role

• Responsibility for the preparation of paperwork to initiate the raising of invoices relating to product being serviced and to ensure processing and mailing prior to the end of the month in which product was serviced.

• Advise the Directors of any matter or incident (including but not limited to product liability), public liability, workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, industrial dispute, criminal or civil action alike) that may involve the company or its insurers incurring some form of liability or may reasonably be of interest to the Directors of the Company.
