About the team

The Reconciliation Platform team plays a critical role in Stripe's payment processing system, which handles hundreds of billions of dollars in card payments annually. Our team owns the post-transaction system responsible for reconciling money, tracing the end-to-end flow of funds, and ensuring Stripe can close its books and meet financial obligations to merchants and partners.

Reconciliation is essential for running a payment business, and given Stripe's significant transaction volume, engineers on our team have the opportunity to:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the supervision of structural & architectural works. Experience in commercial and / or institutional projects will be an advantage

2. Relevant experience in Bored piles, RC works and structural steel works.

4. Must be fully conversant with Building Control Act and Regulations.

Position Overview:

Diligent is looking for a highly professional and motivated individual to combine their technical knowledge with commercial skills to effectively uncover and develop solutions for prospects and customers. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships, as you will interface directly with leaders of large multi-national companies and other key GRC and ESG personas.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads solution designs, presentations and demonstrations to prospects and customers. Owns the product and technical aspects of sales engagements to achieve successful outcomes
• Works closely with a variety of teams including; Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, Solution Architects, Competitive Intelligence, and other content contributors and resources
• Proactively scopes the solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and Diligent
• Contextualizes the value of our solutions to our clients through value-driven presentations and demonstrations
• Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
• Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within Diligent and the prospect. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support
• Owns and completes product and information security responses for RFPs/RFIs
• Secures from customer staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical win”
• Meets assigned targets for sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or other teams supported
• Acts as a Diligent ambassador; attends events and tradeshows representing Diligent
• Provides coaching and professional development to team members and sales colleagues in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.

Responsibilities:

• Plan project on-site activities with Project Manager including necessary local resources, equipment and milestones, coordinate agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy, site coordination and monitoring, responsible, from receiving the assigned site area from the customer or Project Manager to handing over to the end customer on completion day, for coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Serve as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations such as authorities, banks and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.
• Ensure detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the H&S plan, ensure all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promote health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project, empowered to suspend any activities on site in case of OHS violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.
• Ensure correct handling, storage and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as shipment logistics to secure timely site delivery of equipment and material.
• Manage the sub-contractors on site to ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
• Control project cost for the project site work, monitor actual spend against forecast and estimate final cost for the same, manage the petty cash and has delegated authority for local purchasing within agreed limits.
• Ensure all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
• Ensure (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect reports within HR policies, coordinate local accommodation, site facilities, office equipment, petty cash, etc.

Your background:

• Bachelor /Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in Experience Power sectors with focus on 66KV and above transmission network.
