Professional Services Responsibilities

Solution Design and Implementation:

• Design, configure, and deploy NetApp storage solutions (including ONTAP, SnapMirror, SnapVault, etc.) to meet client requirements for storage, data protection, and disaster recovery.
• Provide NetApp solutions to meet specific client needs, considering performance, capacity, scalability, and budget.
• Develop technical documentation, including solution architectures, deployment guides, and as-built documentation.

Technical Consulting:

• Serve as a NetApp advisor for clients on storage best practices, solution architecture, and storage optimization.

Support Responsibilities

Technical Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide support for NetApp storage solutions, diagnosing and resolving.
• Act as an escalation point for Level 1 support teams, handling fault cases and return and replacement of faulty equipment.
• Engage with NetApp support for complex issues, coordinating troubleshooting efforts and solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
• Certifications:
  • NetApp certifications (e.g., NCDA, NCIE, or equivalent) required.

Additional certifications in related storage, cloud, or networking technologies are a plus.

• Experience:

2. Install, un-install or upgrade the system software, inclusive of operating system and its associated system software.

3. Schedule and execute production jobs in accordance with the specifications as stipulated by the Customer.

4. Work with server vendor or other third-party vendor to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve all server-related problems.

5. Document and maintain server administration guides, logical system diagrams and

operation manuals. Create such documents if they are currently not available.

6. Backup and recovery of all operating systems, application programs, users/ business data of the

Customer’s environment, configurations of the web, application and database servers.

Personnel Requirements:

1. Possess the relevant qualifications and/or be proficient in the following areas:

a. Minimally three (3) years hands-on experience in administration of servers.

b. Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare

c. Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server

d. Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy

e. Preferably experience in Commvault/Symantec Backup Products

We are now seeking Field Service Engineer to perform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installation.
