The moment a guest enters the hotel, they will be amazed by the exceptional service provided. As a Duty Manager (Night), you’ll deliver a memorable service to guests by assisting and answering their enquiries that exceeds their expectations. You’ll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. You will be the person to manage the hotel's night operations.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• React and respond to guests to resolve their problems and also provide them with personal recognition
• Ensure VIPs and priority club guests receive special attention
• Ensures front line team members comply with FIT Marketing techniques, maximize sales and upsell while promoting inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities
• Check billing instructions and monitor guest credit
• Analyzes and approves discounts and rebates
• Analyze the rate variance report to ensure rooms revenue control
• Support and assist Front Office team and all departments during peak hours (greeting, rooming and sending off VIP guests)
• Supervises and directs Reception and Reservations personnel in terms of standards of conduct, uniform, hygiene and appearance
• Assist superior in all team member related matters (staffing, recruiting, training, discipline, communication)
• Ensure your team are properly trained according to hotel’s guidelines and quality standards
• Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and according to policies, procedures and guidelines
• Be aware of duty of care, adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
• Takes action with the Property Management Systems (PMS) in emergency situation

What we need from you:

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience as a Duty Manager in a hotel.
• Knowledge – Be knowledgeable about Singapore and places for business travellers/ tourists.
• Be able to work on permanent night shift
• Good knowledge of the Opera Property Management System

New opening Japanese Yo-shoku restaurant. Around 80 pax of capacity.

Job Descriptions

• Ensuring smooth kitchen operations of the restaurant
• Guiding a team of Cooks in delivering great quality dishes to customers
• Handling food preparation and ensuring company standard (following training manual)
• Working close with all team members from both Front of the House and Back of the House to ensure smooth operations and exceed customers’ expectation
• Guiding and monitoring work performance of all staffs
• Conducting opening and closing inventory of beverage and managing stock ordering
• Maintaining of the hygiene and tidiness of kitchen area and storage area
• Ensuring compliance to food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards according to statutory guidelines
• Ensuring company’s policies and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to

Job Requirements

• Graduated at least Secondary school
• At least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity(serve for 80-100pax restaurant) kitchen in which 3 years in managerial level
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, passionate, quality-focused and a multitasker
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Working hours

Working Hour/Standard Condition：

• 7:30-23:30(as Rotating Shift)
• 5days per week (able to work on weekends and public holidays)/principal

Job Description:

• Attend to import and export shipment process and documentation preparation
• Prepares full set of shipping documentations such as packing lists, invoice and certificate of origin
• To coordinate with production/warehouse teams for shipment preparation
• Monitor shipments' departure and arrival
• Declare and apply custom permit related documents
• Coordinating Shipment and Delivery orders
• Liaising closely with various forwarders for shipment confirmation and shipment arrangements
• Liaise with customer/suppliers on shipment of orders
• Follow-up and advise customers on shipment status
• Able to resolve customer complaints in professional manner
• Understand the different tax and duties when shipping to different countries
• Be able to advise Sales/Purchasing Department on estimated shipping cost that might be incurred on a particular shipment
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree holders, preferably and specialized in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Working experience in shipping, supply chain or logistics will be an added advantage
• Work independently and able to work in a fast pace environment
• Team player and dynamic, ability to multi-task
• Good communication and organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Export role

• Prepare and execute Air Waybill, for perishables, general cargo, consolidated shipments, etc using Freight Master
• Prepare export documents (eg cargo acceptance checklist, cargo security certificate, indemnity letter etc) and airline labels
• Ensure all export cargo are properly marked and labelled prior to transfer to airlines
• Give instructions to Drivers/Cargo-hands on the transfer of cargo for export
• Declare Export Cargo Clearance Permit including Certificate of Origin (CO)

Requirements

• At least 1 year relevant experience in freight forwarding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Team player with good attitude and initiative

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the CFMS system and all road performance issues.
• Communicate effectively to all Bus Captains and maintain an organized and professional approach at all times.
• Ensure assigned services achieved the respective BSRF Standards namely EWT, FLBP and OTA.
• Direct supervision to ensure that regular and reliable bus services are operated, with no bunching and excessive early arrivals.
• Supervising Bus Captains to ensure operation of buses according to schedules and submitting disciplinary reports when necessary.
• Ensure necessary actions taken to recover lost mileages.
• Assist Bus Captains in handling emergency situations on the road in real time.
• Ensure that there is a clear and concise record of all decisions and events that take place on the allocated routes for the shift.
• To render support on adhoc unplanned bus bridging as per SOP.
• Adhere to workplace safety and health policies, practice safe work procedures and safety rules implemented at the workplace; and not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger self or others.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a GCE O’ Levels, Diploma or Degree in any field.
• Prior working experience would be advantageous.
• Able to perform shift work.
• Excellent IT and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment would be beneficial.
• Ability to make responsible decision on unpredictable situations effectively.
