Overview

The Accounting Manager reports to the Director and is responsible to oversee all the company’s financial and accounting operations. Duties includes accounts receivable/payable, data entry/compilation, generating of accounting reports and other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing daily operations of accounting department, preparing and reviewing appropriate entry reconciliations and maintaining general ledger system, including ensuring accurate financial data inputs in system.
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues. Track progress of financial and accounting objectives.
• Establish accounting policies and procedures to align with company’s targets and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Generating of taxation / accounting reports.
• Bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Liaising with auditors in their queries during financial year reporting.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a BSc Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in related field is preferred.

• Lead the Accounting team and manage the day-to-day accounting operations including AR, AP, Billing, etc
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update AR and AR and perform reconciliations

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with marine engines, auxiliary engines, steering systems, and other related components.
• Carry out repairs on inboard and outboard engines, including work on fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems.

• Maintain cleanliness of the ship and engine room while onboard.

Documentation and Reporting:
