Job description

1. Perform the maintenance service in a proper and correct manner as stated on the checklist

2. Attend emergency breakdown service as instructed by the team leader

3. Carry out testing & commissioning for A&A work and run the small size of project

4. Provide technical support to the Application Team

5. Co-ordinate with the Project and Application departments and provide necessary support when required by the Team Leader

8. Deliver good standard of workmanship and ensure accurate quantity and quality of the equipment to be installed at site

9. Conduct in-house training when is required

10. Perform standby duty and other ad hoc duties as assigned

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 2 years’ experience in security systems
• Strong knowledge in network and security systems, able to troubleshoot and rectify the network and systems related issues.

To provide efficient after-sales technical services and support, including assembly, pre-delivery inspection, delivery, installation and commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintenance and servicing of equipment and its related parts.

Job Responsibilities

Technical Support, Quality and Service Standards

• Responsible for the successful completion of scheduled service jobs & ad hoc troubleshooting.
• Perform and complete all service jobs as assigned, ensuring equipment is in good condition before handing over to customer.
• Work in co-operation with supervisor, colleagues and vendors to fulfill job requirements and resolve technical problems in meeting the expectations of external customers.

Records and Documentation

• Responsible for recording and providing accurate and complete service reports upon completion of every service jobs or visits to facilitate follow up and/or warranty claim where appropriate.
• Prepare and upkeep all equipment related documents in accordance with the documentation system and procedure of Industrial Services.

EHS and Housekeeping

• To maintain proper housekeeping and discipline at workplace as well as the client's work site so as to improve operational efficiency, whilst maintaining the good image of the Company.
• To observe safety precautions and to execute correct engineering practices at all times so as to minimize risk to self and others as well as damage to equipment and workplace.
• Act responsibly at all times to comply with the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures and work instructions of the company.
• Able to produce Risk Assessment (RA) for related jobs at site.

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma or in an Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in MS Office applications preferred
• Able to interpret Electrical diagram and knowledge on instrumentation & Control
• Fluent in both written and oral English
• Have good discipline and work attitude
• A good team player

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Service Technician to join their team. The position may require you to travel to different countries within the Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance during product demonstrations and sales trials to help customers understand our cleaning robots.
• Train customers on how to use and maintain our cleaning robots, and certify them for proper operation.
• Address technical inquiries, quickly identify issues, and troubleshoot robot malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work with internal teams to address and solve robot issues, both on-site and for factory returns.
• Stay updated on the latest robot technologies and use this knowledge to assist customers.
• Collect feedback to help improve the product and share insights with the R&D team.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for onsite support, training, and troubleshooting services.
• Assist with any additional duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certificate in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering.
• 2-3 years in technical support or servicing, ideally in robotics or automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer training and support.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in cleaning robot technologies.
• Must be willing to travel for customer support and training.
• Class 3 driving license is a plus.
