As Enterprise Support BDM, you will be part of the Enterprise Support organization. You will support the Premium Support strategy and own driving the go-to-market (GTM) efforts for Support, with the objective to increase adoption for paid support offerings amongst Enterprise customers while maintaining target margin performance, and using Support to accelerate AWS platform adoption for the customers. You will engage our customers to understand why they need Enterprise Support (or why not), what are the pain points and obstacles in their current support offering. Reporting to Director of CA&C Southeast Asia, this role is focused on amplifying the company’s presence and reputation, and helping our businesses achieve its goals in Singapore, Thailand, and throughout the SE Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute external communication strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility in Singapore and Thailand.
• Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, handling media inquiries, and building relationships with key journalists and influencers.
• Manage content creation for external platforms, including social media.
• Manage our social media community, maintaining and monitoring our social media channels to ensure content is always on brand and comments are responded to promptly. The successful candidate will also create content for our channels to keep our followers engaged with our brand.
• Develop and implement internal communication plans to engage employees in Singapore
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business priorities.
• Organize and support internal events, including town halls, employee engagement initiatives, and leadership communication sessions.
• Serve as the primary communications contact for Thailand, managing all communications independently while ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or Social Media
• 3-6 years of experience in corporate communications, with a mix of external and internal communications responsibilities.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse audiences. (candidates will be asked to take a written test)
• Experience in managing media relations and digital communication platforms.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in Thai language is a significant advantage to support market-specific needs.
• Knowledge of Southeast Asia’s media landscape particularly in Singapore and Thailand a plus.

Purpose of the job

To ensure excellence in delivery of financial accounts, including financial statements, management accounts, and annual returns, by overseeing the local private clients’ accountants and coordinating with the Mauritius Private Clients accountants assisting with the preparation.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to quickly build upon accounting, tax and financial management experience, especially in the private clients’ space.

The candidate will form part of a vibrant Trust Services (Private Clients) team, that lends his/her accounting expertise to bring greater value to the private clients’ relationships.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the local Trust Services (Private Clients) team by taking ownership and responsibility over preparation and quality of the financial accounts within the team.

Managing a portfolio of clients accounts ensuring high quality service deliverables to clients, including but not limited to, review and preparation of the financial accounts where applicable.

Ensure excellence in delivery of all financial accounts of the local private clients team.

Coordinate, liaison and lead the accounting process with Group centralised accounting team (i.e. Mauritius) where applicable, towards ensuring excellence in delivery of accounts.

Review and prepare full or partial sets of accounts (monthly, quarterly and yearly) for the portfolio of clients.

Ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions and analyse financial information, to prepare meaningful management accounts and supporting schedule

Prepare tax computation and assist with tax compliance matters.

Ensure payments are processed in compliance with the client’s policies and statutory requirements.

Review and prepare financial statements under SFRS and other international GAAP where applicable

Coordinate with external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial and government authorities, where required

Establish good client relationships through positive interactions with the clients

Liaise with banker, auditors and other professional parties where required

Any other such duties that would be reasonably required for this role.

Qualifications

Accountancy Degree from reputable university and qualified Chartered Accountant (ISCA/MIA)

4-5 years of relevant experience

Experience working in trust client accounting environment is preferred but not required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong accounting knowledge

Strong and extensive experience in consolidation

Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Income Tax Incentives (e.g. 13U and 13O) and relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines.

Strong Microsoft Office skills with particular focus on Excel skills and Xero accounting software

Ability to communicate in Mandarin with Chinese-speaking clients
