We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with expertise in the advanced machinery industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong track record in procurement, supplier management, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with plant production needs and overall business objectives.
• Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify and source reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and machinery. Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely delivery schedules to optimize cost-efficiency while maintaining high product quality.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is maintained to meet production demands while avoiding overstock and unnecessary costs.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring adherence to financial goals and cost control measures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and other teams to understand product specifications, manufacturing requirements, and ensure seamless procurement execution.
• Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, including orders, contracts, supplier communications, and delivery schedules. Ensure transparency and accountability.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and take proactive steps to mitigate disruptions and ensure continuous production flow.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or advanced machinery environment.
• Procurement Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management, contract negotiation, and inventory control.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
• Key Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage budgets, mitigate risks, and drive cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction activities and progress independently
• Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements
• Supervise structural/architectural works, co-ordinate with client's representatives
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub contractor to perform on site work
• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period
• Ensure the quality of work
• Responsible for implementing the work plan of the Project Manager
• Prepare daily progress report and work schedule
• Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site
• Attend project meetings
• Other ad-hoc tasks within the Manager’s capability

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
