Responsibilities

• Evaluate, process and approve Permit to Work (PTW) submitted by different users and contractors for hospital works, including and not limiting to renovation works, construction work, maintenance works and installations. Ensure compliance with all the applicable legislation, statutory, codes governing environmental health & safety and pandemic and emergency response measures. Review and monitor current information, registration and documents for regulatory and hospital safety compliance, including for hazardous materials and agents.

• Develop and implement accident investigations, data analysis and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.

Requirements

• Education with Degree, preferably in Engineering/ Applied or Basic Science/ Environmental Services/ Industry Hygiene or a related field.

• Experience of at least 5 years of directly related experience in environmental health and safety compliance.

• The incumbent is expected to train and develop team members and other staff members; provide appropriate coaching, mentoring and supervision to staff members.

Purpose of the Position

Responsible for executing timely credit reviews of all counterparties and financial institutions, and for sanctioning appropriate credit limits to each party. • Harmonize the existing credit policy and system (including consolidated global data) with Mitsubishi Corporation's existing policy and systems.

3. Liaising with other departments (20%)

• Communicate and liaise with other departments e.g. Legal and Compliance, Trade Operations and Finance and Accounting for day-to-day credit risk related activities.

• Support the credit team in RTMC by sharing best practices and knowledge

• Actively participate in the CTRM build out. i.e. credit functional inputs and testing.

4. Supervising junior staff, subordinate (10%)

• Conduct mentoring duties with the aim of transferring to junior officer knowledge of executing transactional tasks related to credit risk.

Experience

• Relevant experience in credit risk management for commodity trading houses/ financial institutions of 10 to 15 years.

• At least 4-6 years of experience in relevant industry sectors related to commodity trading will be advantageous.

• Experience with supervising/ mentoring a small team of junior subordinates will be advantageous.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

The main objective of the department is to assist the CRO’s Office in the management of MC Branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region, of its related activities and support our senior executives in our head office in Tokyo on the aspect of internal legal services.

In doing so, you will collaborate deeply with our colleagues in our head office in Tokyo, as well as our branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region. The Principal OEM Business Manager is the relationship owner for the Amazon Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)Device Manufacturing Services suppliers that provide co-development resources, procure components, design, manufacture and test digital devices.

Key job responsibilities
The OEM Business Manager has a dual responsibility to:

1) Lead the sourcing, selection, contract negotiation and management of one or more EMS suppliers in alignment with the overarching EMS strategy and within the Integrated Management System. Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in Engr. Services, Line Readiness, Quality, Business Management, Contract management and adherence, delivery, cost and social responsibility.

2) Actively engage the Device Operations and Engineering organizations with the EMS suppliers on one or more products/product lines to achieve the programmatic objectives.

These high profile responsibilities require significant breadth and business acumen as the responsibilities are very diverse and impactful:

Technical - Solid understanding of the EMS supplier landscape and capabilities in addition to Digital Device technologies and manufacturing / testing methodologies. Understanding of Capital Equipment supplier landscape and capabilities.

Negotiation Skills – Able to negotiate best in class contract pricing, terms and conditions on large contracts with suppliers who are exceptionally skilled at protecting thin margins. Exercise good judgement in knowing when and how best to address issues or drive change. In the case of an ODM relationship lead all commercial discussions.

Contract Management – Ensure that the suppliers execute and adhere to the contracts and renegotiate whenever possible to realize benefits from bundling work with Strategic Suppliers. This is not limited to dollars but being able to protect Amazon’s bottom line in all aspects – IP, indemnity, confidentiality, etc. as these are all crucial to how Amazon is able to have successful launches (products that “wow” the customer). In the case of an ODM relationship ensure that the contracts protect Amazon’s brand and meet customer requirements.


Financial – Responsible for managing the business relationship including contracts, pricing, terms and conditions and claims. Must be an effective negotiator. The value of these supplier engagements can reach the billion-dollar level.

Relationship Builder – Must have the ability to engage, influence and arbitrate both the supplier and the Lab126 stakeholder organizations at the operational and Sr. Executive levels. The circumstances are often emotional and with severe pressure and limited time. Must build strong business cases and have a strong executive presence.

Basic qualifications
