Responsibilities:

- Responsible for daily basis service work and handling new installation projects and testing commissions for air-cooled and water-cooled chiller.

- Routine servicing of Commercial Chillers (Air-cooled & Water-cooled chillers) onsite.

- Routine duties includes maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to commercial chillers, AHU, FCU, VRV CRAC, VRV Systems, including tear down and rebuild (overhauling).

- Able to read specifications and drawings by contractors.

- Inspecting and testing systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect/locate malfunctions.

- Organise and keep up with records and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.

- Responsible for adjusting system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance systems handling for all types of refrigerant.

Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 2 years of technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, Chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems

- Resourceful with good analytical and interpersonal skills

- Strong communication skills

- Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task

- Possess Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage

JOB PURPOSE

The Regional Service Engineering Manager leads, guides and manages the Service Engineering Teams to ensure that the Company’s products being used by customers are properly configured and commissioned and can be used safely. To do that, the Service Engineers have to competently check, maintain and support the engineering and technical aspects of the products and troubleshoot and rectify any faults and problems that customers encounter.

CRITICAL WORK FUNCTIONS & KEY TASKS

1. Commissioning, Maintenance and Service Assignments
2. Lead, guide and oversee the Service Engineers in various countries to provide engineering (mainly electrical and mechanical) and technical support services to customers for commissioning, preventive maintenance and corrective services. The purpose is to ensure that the equipment/machine are properly installed and can be safely operated.
3. As the Manager for the Singapore team, allocate work and manage the Service Engineers in Singapore.
4. Advise and address cases escalated by team members, which is usually done remotely through emails, messaging and telecommunications on a 24 x 7 basis.
5. Provide engineering support and service for certain products personally.
6. Review or prepare quotations to tender for service contracts for preventive maintenance and repairs. Decide on terms and pricings.
7. Where necessary, support the clinical application specialist in attending to cases involving the use of robotics in the operating theatre.

2 Products, Stock & Knowledge Management

1. Deal with manufacturers on technical issues and spare parts.
2. Plan and ensure that stock level of spare parts is optimally kept.
3. Track and ensure that testers are calibrated and checked periodically.
4. Manage and enforce documentation of all assignments handled to build up a knowledge database for analysis, learning and sharing. Identify common issues and errors and prepare an article or advisory to educate the Engineers.
5. Prepare step-by-step training materials and operating manual (derived from service manuals provided by manufacturers) for every major equipment to guide the Engineers

Job Scope

• Attend to the needs of the customer’s professionally and quickly such that the customer’s waiting time is kept to the minimum.

• Walkabout in service centres and observe cues from customers

• Transfer the calls in a professional manner where the other party is being informed of the transfer and the extension that they are being transferred to.

• Record messages accurately from customers and follow-up with SAs to ensure that messages/ calls are replied.

• Assist in the daily operation of the reception.

• Assist with collation of intake reports.

• Assist Customer Service Executive in handling 1st level of complaint cases

• Assist with cashiering and document submission to finance and respective managers

• Handle non-booking walk in customers tactfully to uphold customer service level standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain client positions:

• Booking daily traded and non-traded positions for our clients within our portfolio management system.
• Ensure prices of positions are implemented for client investment holdings on a timely and accurate basis.
• Perform daily and weekly reconciliations of our system to bank statements.
• Liaise with banks and investment funds to verify documentation and data.
• Liaise with the Investment team to maintain data integrity of the system.

Produce client investment reports:

• Prepare accurate and timely reporting of client holdings across both public and private market positions as well as for the whole portfolio.
• Be the centre of competence and owner of your client report – responsible for proactively addressing all related questions.

Analyze investment positions using analytical tools such as PowerBI and Artificial Intelligence:

• Use data in the system to analyze asset allocation, drivers of investment performance and projections of cashflows which can be reflected in client reporting.
• Build customized reports and dashboards in our new software system that clients can use to understand the performance of underlying investment holdings and of the whole portfolio.
• Help to design repeatable AI prompts and then leverage these prompts on our internal data to improve the efficiency of operational work.

Support in trade and fund subscriptions:

• Resolve trade settlement issues with banks in a timely manner.
• Organise and manage filing of subscription documents and investment contracts.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – in a quantitative field is a plus
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, ideally within wealth management, private banking, or family office environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft PowerBI
• Familiarity with generating useful prompts for AI is a plus
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
