Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Strategy & Operations Executive will support the Manager in operational tasks and contribute as a member of the dynamic retail leasing team. This role ensures that the company's operations and business transactions comply with all relevant legal and internal guidelines while achieving the organization’s goal.

This role involves managing and documentation submissions, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining policies while streamlining and gatekeeping new processes to ensure leasing’s compliance with regulations and uphold a culture of integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support Manager in ensuring all leasing documentation is completed and complies with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and rectified/mitigate any potential risk within leasing operations.
• Review and enhance operational workflow and compliance policies for better efficiency and productivity.
• Support in creating training materials and conducting sessions to promote compliance awareness among leasing and related teams.

Qualifications & Work Experience

With a growing customer base, we are seeking a motivated Operations Executive who can work independently while also contributing effectively to our team. Main job scope includes order packing, unpacking of shipment and inventory management, as well as other tasks. Our labels include The Fleur Label, nonome and other e-commerce stores.

• Aid in the packing and shipping of customer orders.

Fund Accounting

• Ensure accounting books and records for assigned funds, financial reports and other reports are well maintained, accurate and complete on a timely manner

• Monitor day to day management of fund dealing operations and liaising with transfer agencies
• Prepare regular reports and filings to regulatory bodies
• Perform due diligent and/or service review for the counterparts
• Undertake primary responsibility for the provision of fund services to investors
• Ensure internal/external audits are properly and efficiently carried out Custody and Settlement
• Ensure investment deployment or trades are matched and settled effectively
• Monitor daily settlement process to ensure its compliance and timeliness

Additional Requirements

• Specialise Diploma or Bachelor degree in Business Administration; Banking & Finance or Accounting
• 4-10 years of experience in regulated financial services company
• Familiar with Singapore Financial Accounting Standards (SFRS) Income Tax Act
• Familiar with MAS AML/KYC policies and procedures
• Familiar with onboarding procedures for Accredited Investors (AI)
• CFA, ACCA or CPA is a plus point
• Good knowledge of offshore vehicles, or overseas fund structure is a plus point
• Ability to communicate in Chinese, Thai, Bahasa or Korean will be a plus point

Job Descriptions:

• Provide comprehensive support for freight operations, with a primary focus on air freight (95%), and secondary responsibilities for trucking (4%) and ocean freight (1%).
• Collaborate with 3PL warehouses, freight providers, and relevant stakeholders to resolve shipment issues, including documentation, cargo damage,discrepancies, and other related concerns.
• Respond promptly and professionally to stakeholders' inquiries, addressing shipment queries, issues, and providing necessary assistance.
• Manage service recovery efforts, including containment of escalations, conflict resolution, and conducting investigations to identify root causes.
• Oversee the performance of the 3PL transportation team and freight providers, ensuring that agreed-upon service standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met consistently.
• Assist in identifying and implementing enhancement requests related to both operations and systems, aiming to improve efficiency and service quality.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Must have experience in air freight operations support, preferably within semiconductor companies or handling semiconductor shipments.
• Proven experience working with forwarders, integrators, and premium service carriers.
• Solid working knowledge of shipment Incoterms, shipment liabilities, and claims processes.
• Ability to provide support during weekends for urgent shipments, particularly during peak periods (remote support is available).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond professionally via email, meetings, and phone calls.
• Comfortable attending meetings with 3PL warehouses, freight providers, and global stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to ALPS for warehouse visits, particularly during quarter-end periods.
• Availability and commitment to work hands-on during peak quarter months, which are in March, June, September, and December.
• Independent, responsible, resourceful, and a fast learner with a strong sense of urgency.

Good to Have:

• A diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of customs permits and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) requirements.
