What you will be working on

Coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, escalating issues as needed.

Implement preventive measures and corrective actions to address root causes of recurring incidents.

Ensure incidents, major or otherwise, are resolved according to agreed service levels and in accordance with agreed processes. The TOM will co-ordinate the activities between the managed service team and third-party vendors in the resolution of such incidents.

Manage the planning and implementation of changes to technical systems and infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate changes, obtain approvals, and mitigate risks associated with changes.

Implement disaster recovery plans.

Ensure regular testing and updating of DR procedures.

Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.

Previous experience as a Team Lead

Strong knowledge of IT systems and Platforms (Virtualization, Storage, Backup, Containers).

Service Management or Support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline from a recognized institution.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation certification is a Must

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure RFQ is managed properly, work closely with Sales team, co-ordinate other IT teams to complete the RFQ.
2. Work with the Sales team and product team to propose necessary solutions as per RFQ requirements.
3. Handhold sales, solutions and project implementation team once project is awarded and manage escalations.
4. Ensure that projects are executed based on the project plan to meet identified business needs, within agreed parameters of cost, duration and quality
5. Analyze the requirements, scope the problem and develop business cases to address the problem
6. Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions that best fit the project’s needs.
7. Work with our customers’ line units to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of solution
8. Develop project schedule and activities based on appropriate project implementation methodology
9. Identify potential project risks and their implications to the organization and recommend mitigating measures to manage the risks and to provide reasonable assurance to the organization
10. Establish the appropriate project organization structure and define the change management and communication plan to engage and set expectations of stakeholders
11. Engage and manage the Internal/ External Service Provider(s) (who supplies the people, processes, tools and methodologies) to deliver ICT solutions and services.
12. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes and procedures and system are designed to comply with policies and guidelines
13. Communicate and present to senior decision makers, stakeholders and management forums on project progress and issues with respect to business objectives
