• Manage application and security incidents. Conduct problem determination and work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner to meet SLA requirements. Provide reporting and escalate to higher management or incident committee when necessary.
• Develop operations and processes guide to document every aspect of operations and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Manage day-to-day operation activities. Analyze statistics, write status and progress reports, and present findings to stakeholders and higher management.
• Manage operations team consisting of staff and vendors to ensure 24/7 support availability.

Experience and Skills Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Engineer or similar role in an IT setting.
• Experience in implementing change management and incident management workflows using ITSM tools (e.g., Remedy, Zendesk, ServiceDesk) to automate workflows is advantageous.
• Implement security and access control measures to manage privileged access to test and production environments.
• Full stack monitoring experience using Application Performance Management (APM) tools. Familiarity with cloud-native monitoring options (e.g., Cloudwatch, Stackdriver) and the OpenAPM stack is preferred.
• Process automation expertise using scripting tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to minimize downtime and human errors.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, test-driven development, and info-security practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a high-performance team and influence with positive energy.
• Resourceful and innovative thinker capable of working out solutions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of the Job

As the HR Business Partner to Global Operations Director, he/she will drive HR strategies for Global Operations - aligning with business objectives, supporting organization growth, and enhancing operational effectiveness across the regions. As a key partner to the senior leadership team in Operations, he/she will lead HR programs focused on employee engagement, talent development, and operational performance, while promoting HR best practices and contributing to the broader business strategy. This role requires close collaboration with HR COEs (Center of Excellence) and Site HR Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Partnering:

• Partner Global Operations Director to provide focused, business-minded HR leadership to enable the success of Company’s Operations by translating business vision and strategy into executable people strategy.

• Align HR strategies with business objectives across global operations

• Advise, coaches and influences senior Operations leaders on talent management,

• organizational design, and leadership development.

2. Talent Management

• Accountable for attracting and retaining Operations talents that fits our Company’s Culture and ensuring a best-in-class employee experience from onboarding to induction, to development and growth, to offboarding.

• Identify and address talent gaps globally, focusing on critical roles in operations.

• Lead initiatives for talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.

3. Performance Management & Employee Engagement:

• Works closely with site leadership to drive performance management processes to enhance productivity and foster engagement.

• Address employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment.

4. Organizational Development:

• Lead/ provide guidance on organizational design and change management to support operational goals.

• Support manufacturing excellence through HR-driven initiatives.

5. HR Analytics and Reporting:

• Provide HR data insights to leadership on workforce trends and gaps.

• Track and report on key HR metrics like turnover, engagement, and productivity.

6. Compliance & Risk Management:

• Work with Site HRs to ensure compliance with local and global labour laws and company policies.

• Manage HR-related risks and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

7. Global HR Projects:

• Lead or support global HR projects, including leadership development and diversity initiatives.

• Ensure alignment with HR practices across and regions and functions.

8. People Management + Collaboration with Site/Global HRs:

• Manage and develop site HR teams across the 8 manufacturing plants, providing leadership, coaching, and support to ensure high and consistent performance.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development within the site HR versus the Global HR teams.

• Support and guide site HR teams in addressing local challenges and fostering a unified global HR strategy.

• Works with HR COE and drives implementation and communication of key HR processes and new initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Degree in any discipline or HR certifications preferred.

• Experience: Min. 15 years of experience in regional HR, with operations-focused roles is a must

• Skills: Strong strategic, communication, and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to successfully drive initiatives in a matrix environment and work at all levels of the organisation.

• Stakeholders management: Ability to build a wide network of relationships and manage senior

• Travel: Willingness to travel internationally (20-30%).

1. Factory and Facilities Management

1. Ensure Factory facilities (Fire, Security, Building etc.) in compliance with Agencies regulations / guidelines and company procedures/ standards.
2. Track & follow up on Annual or periodical inspection & license renewal (Fire certificate/ Diesel storage/ Gas storage/ Lift usage).
3. Perform & coordinate routine inspections on maintenance of building facilities/ general facilities hygiene cleanliness to ensure factory operation at optimum levels and environmental compliance.
4. Raise, monitor and coordinate maintenance/ repair work assignments by technicians performing property maintenance works.
5. Ensure and coordinate pest control and housekeeping control measures in the factory are performed in accordance with approved procedures.
6. To ensure and maintain records entry and exit of all (Visitors/ Contractors/ Suppliers/ Vendors / officers from MOM,NEA,AVA,and SCDF).
7. Management of Security Guard on site & Security Company.
8. Provide weekly/monthly report update (Duty Roster /Attendance)
9. Manage and oversee evaluation of warehouse operators and cleaner,to improve their skills and efficiency.

2. Logistic Management

1. Support Logistics on document & inventory management.
2. Ensure Local, Export and Online orders on-time delivery service to customers; ensure follow company SOP.
3. Ensure smooth coordination with warehouse on all orders.
4. Monitor Inventory movement based on Actual sales with Forecast.
5. Authorized override warehouse head to hande warehouse operation whenever necessary
6. Stand-in for staffs in regards to Local , Export and online orders whenever necessary.
7. Any other duties as assigned by the Company from time to time. The Company also reserves the right to transfer you to other section or department and enlarge your job scope if necessary.
