About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to lead and oversee our operations across all Guardian pharmacies. This pivotal role includes managing a team of promoters, ensuring seamless execution of strategies, and driving operational excellence to achieve sales and growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all operational activities in Guardian pharmacies to ensure efficient workflows and exceptional customer experiences.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize sales, inventory, and promotional activities.
• Supervise and motivate a team of in-store promoters, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and logistics, to support campaigns and product launches.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to improve operational effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Guardian management and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the retail or healthcare industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive data-informed decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities:

Back Office Support

• Assist all other departments to run errands (eg: purchase/collect goods from suppliers, bring workers for medical, bring workers to renew passport/work permit, collect documents etc)

Planning

• Plan the daily deployment of drivers on a routine and adhoc basis, ensuring that operations requirements are fulfilled.
• Responsible for a smooth and effective operations on a day-to-day basis
• Provide instructions to operations on the ground and have overall control of resource/manpower deployment to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure operational matters are taken care off and issues are resolved timely
• Ensure all trucks are in good working conditions
• Handle a wide range of customers from various industries

Requirements:

• ITE from a local polytechnic
• Able to multi-task and handle stress
• 5.5 days work week
• Preferably with Class 3 licence
