Responsibilities:

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

• Administer Project Management resources to assist the operations to
• Incorporate constructability inputs from the operations in design drawings
• Ensure the timely receipt of design drawings for subcontractor tender
• Attend the respective site meetings on a monthly basis
• Ensure that the site managers/ engineer attend their respective design meetings on a monthly basis

MEETINGS

• Conduct Client design kick-off meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow-on meetings
• Conduct internal design meetings for assigned projects and subsequently, monitor such follow on meetings
• Prepare and attend pre-construction meetings with Business Development and Operations for assigned projects
• Co-chair internal design review meetings with Project Management for assigned projects
• Conduct monthly Client project-update meetings for assigned projects

PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review design drawings for value engineering and constructability consideration
• Coordinate and verify subcontractor proposals for assigned projects during the award stage
• Ensure compliance to cost report submission timelines
• Negotiate subcontractor deductions for project non-compliance and breaches
• Administer Project Management resources to oversee the following matters for assigned projects
• Compliance to key legal obligations in relation to the project
• Flow through of Client contract obligations to the subcontractors
• Project schedule and site progress
• Project cost and budget adherence
• Formal project certifications, including handover certificates
• Defect rectification progress, particularly during the handover/ final statement claim stage

• Administer the filing and archiving of assigned projects documentation

Job Description

1-1. Overall Operations Supervision

- Supervise overall warehouse operations including SG local transportation from/to company’s warehouse(s)

- Establish and monitor the basic practice and implementation such as MHE pre-inspection, daily-walk-about in the respective work environment with the support from section leads below SLM

- Supervise and monitor WSH monthly reports and take a lead to close any negative findings.

- Receive an external or/and internal escalation upon any deviation or potential risk of deviation from the set KPIs.

- Provide the respective section leads with the relevant guidance and direction whereby how to adjust, correct, or upgrade daily operations.

1-2. Overall Operations Projects Supervision

- Delegate the respective tasks to the respective section leads by determining a schedule.

- Monitor the completion of respective project tasks.

- Receive any escalation from the section leads upon any potential delay or obstacles.

- Provide the respective section leads with the relevant advice and guidance for their clear understanding. - Schedule and arrange any internal session for internal alignments in case of any potential issues, especially the severe ones.

- Properly and timely escalate the potential risks to the direct superior.

1-3. Operations Resource Planning

- Come up with operations manpower resource planning.

- Conduct recruitment interviews in case of additional manpower resources to bring into the operations team.

1-4. Warehouse P/L Control

- Analyse monthly department P/L starting from sales revenue, direct cost, indirect cost up to gross profit with the direct superior.

- Come up with some proposals to improve our sales or/and cost for further discussion and finalisation with the direct superior.

3. Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in 3PLWarehouse operations environment.
