Hitachi Asia Ltd. is searching for a Deputy Site Service Manager to join the Particle Therapy Systems Division for its Proton Beam Therapy (PBT*) project at National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS).

The Deputy Site Service Manager will be responsible for daily technical operation and maintenance of the PBT system installed at National Cancer Centre Singapore and will lead a team “Service and Maintenance Organization (SMO)” and supervise its activities. • Build good rapport with tenants, contractors, and superior landlords
• Prepare and monitor tenant renovation and reinstatement work
• Supervise submission to related parties and authorities including Superior landlord
• Study and implement mall reconfiguration & AEl work/project
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance measures
• Supervising shopping centre day-to-day operation and term contractors
• Supervise and review the standard of service contractors
• Facilitate and ensure contractors complete repair and maintenance work in accordance with timelines and standards
• Take control of emergency management including evacuation and reporting to relevant authorities
• Propose annual budgeting of department, taking control of expenditure and capex
• Any other duties as may be designated by the company

Requirements

• Preferably with more than five (5) years relevant working experience in a company dealing with shopping centre management
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Building/ Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Facilities
• Management /Real Estate Management studies or equivalent
• Excellent organizational, communication and planning skills
• Strong critical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of AutoCad software is advantageous

Job Description:

• Work with external parties and customers to oversee the assigned projects.
• Establish project objectives policies, procedures and performance standards to be in line with the company policy, contract specifications, and applicable laws & regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering staff to ensure compliance of work procedures, project scopes, scheduling and work sequence, safety plans, etc.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with concerned parties to facilitate proper project activities.
• Monitor and manage project site activities to ensure the completion of projects as per schedule and the work activities are within the projected budget.
• Develop project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones; develop mechanisms to track schedule progress in the field; and update the schedule regularly.
• Able to manage an ELV project independently.
• Provide close monitoring and support (including hands-on if necessary) of the assigned projects/site staff to ensure smooth and effective operation.
• Ensure all the projects are completed within the timeline.
• Monitor, review and manage operation costs and responsible for financial performance of all the projects.
• Responsible for project management including attending all the meetings, coordination and site supervision works.
• Liaise with consultants, architects and contractors and handle all technical matters.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar industry, especially the Building Management System and Extra Low Voltage System.
• A self-starter, able to work independently and with high level of ownership and responsibility.

• Manage & develop new customers based for service sales in the industrial, Marine & Offshore/Oil Gas market.
• Responsible for maintaining a high standard level of customer services and good customer relation.
• Responsible for maximizing a high level of profit margin and ensure meeting the pre-set sales target.
• To identifying and developing sales & marketing strategies to exhaust opportunities in the local market as well as to exploit overseas markets.
• Make sales presentation and provide technical support to customer
• Gather information on market demand, competition and latest technologies.
• Submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
