Position Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Work with sales and R&D team to establish workflow for new products.
2. Conduct business case analysis for new products to be developed.
3. Develop product pipeline with time lines and identity gaps based on business strategy of the company.
4. Liaise with the relevant functions from concept to launch of product
5. Work with production / suppliers to document relevant product info eg. Prep process, specification, costing, for downstream activities eg. Finance reporting, selling price and more.

7. Any other duties assigned by reporting officer of Head of Department.

Qualifications and Experiences

• Experience in ISO, HACCP, Risk management and GMP will be an advantage

• Support Production in daily administrative duties, including report writing, job scheduling, data entry and email corresponding.

• Business new businesses for new build of FCB, CTV, launch boats and passenger ferries.
• Build and develop good working relationship with potential customers and maintaining teamwork showing high interests.
• Solve daily conflicts at ground level by monitoring and coordinating sequential and incompatible jobs affecting master schedule.
• Closely liaise with classification societies, ship owners, owner specialist engineers, vessel crew and ship agents to ensure successful completion of the project meeting or exceeding customer's expectations.
• Meet commercial / naval contractual commitments and quality of repaired ship.
• Capture additional works and raise variation orders and provide information to Corporate Dept for more competitive pricing.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Naval Architecture/Marine/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Possess 2 years' experience in similar capacity from marine / shipbuilding.
• Macro thinking with good emotional quotients
• Able to make appropriate decisions and judgments, decisive and take proper actions.
• Able to negotiate and prepare quotations after proper costing with vendors and suppliers, local and overseas
• Willing to work late at times and possess leadership qualities.
• Proficient in MS Office

• Location: Tuas Road (Direct bus from Joo Koon MRT)
• 5 days work week with occasional weekend depending on volumes
• Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
