Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily shipping operations, ensuring the smooth movement of goods to and from designated locations.
• Handle Letters of Credit, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted on time. Work closely with banks and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Utilize and manage the ERP system to track shipments, inventory, and documentation. Ensure data accuracy and timely updates in the system.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members in the shipping department, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations and grow professionally.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and Certificates of Origin.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping vendors and carriers, negotiating rates and managing contracts to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
• Ensure shipments comply with international trade regulations, customs, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse teams to manage inventory levels, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to shipping, transportation, or documentation delays.
• Assist with any ad-hoc projects or assignments from the management team to support overall business operations.

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a shipping/logistics role.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of PO, SO, DO, invoicing, PFI, invoice preparation, and L/C documentation.
• Team player with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to start work on short notice or immediately.
• Growth mindset with a good dedication to ongoing professional advancement.

• Organizational Structure and Job Descriptions
• Review and redesign organizational hierarchy, considering interdepartmental relationships and internal workflows

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Suite)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

The Challenges:

• Handling full-set of accounts including AP/AR
• Prepare invoices, debit and credit notes for customers
• Prepare payment and receipt in daily basis
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of ledger systems
• Preparation of GST report/ monthly management reporting/ bank reconciliation and journal entries
• Liaise with Operations team on accounting-related matters
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time

What It Takes:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with knowledge for full set of accounts required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to converse well in English
• Initiative and ability to work well in a team-based environment with a positive attitude but good to also possess the ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Detail-oriented with good organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor performance of the assigned services in term of volume, revenue and margin for both inbound & outbound
• Monitor utilization of all vessels sailed from the assigned location as well as the assigned services
• Fine tune cargo mix & customer mix to increase number of TEU loaded on vessels in order to maximum profit for the assigned services
• Approve rate, free time and local charges as per guideline
• Propose rate for Regional Account bidding as per guideline
• Resolve and follow up day to day matters with locations and concerned departments
• Prepare reports and/or analysis related to service or location performance improvement

Product Planning Department

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform service design and vessel deployment through P&L simulation and analysis
• Negotiate terms with other carriers and draft agreement for joint services
• Prepare weekly/ monthly reports on vessel utilization and margin contribution
• Reconcile billing statement and verify invoices
• Monitor contractual changes
• Monitor and prepare vessel costing and consolidation of service performance for owner's meeting

Requirement:

• Degree qualification in business / economics/ logistics / maritime studies
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply, training will be provided
