Job Description

Job Requirement

• Comprehensive grasp of sustainability challenges in supply chains (e.g. deforestation, labour risks, carbon emissions)
• Professional experience in the commodities sector and/or knowledge of the natural rubber industry is a significant advantage

This role will manage daily IT operations and offer guidance to the IT Administrator.

• Procure, set up, configure, test, and upkeep computers and all office technical/network equipment for users and project locations, encompassing both hardware and software.
• Manage IT asset inventory and conduct regular inspections of IT equipment.
• Thorough documentation of hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals.
• Responsible for daily troubleshooting of technical issues related to hardware and software.
• Collaborate with the HR department to handle all IT requirements for staff onboarding and offboarding, such as setting up or disabling email and corporate accounts, deploying or retrieving assigned IT equipment, managing VPN access, etc.
• Implement improvements and changes to IT systems, ensuring that the organization's IT processes are aligned with its business objectives.
• Plan and oversee the creation and upkeep of company websites, applications, and systems.
• Coordinate the schedule to ensure timely completion of development and maintenance tasks.
• Offer assistance to fellow employees and relevant parties regarding system operations.
• Assisting with the rollout of new hardware and software throughout the company, including basic training, creating simple user guides and documentation, and troubleshooting initial issues.

Job Descriptions

1. Maintaining full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, tax (GST), and bank reconciliation.
2. Responsible for full cycle of fixed assets which includes maintaining fixed asset register, prepare journal entry.
3. Manage general ledger functions and operations.
4. Prepare journal entries for accrual, prepayments, and provisions, and maintain recurring journal.
5. Perform monthly intercompany invoicing.
6. Handle intercompany and account reconciliation.
7. Prepare monthly accounting schedules.

Job Requirements

1. ** Applicable to Singaporeans only due to quota limitations
2. Diploma or degree in accountancy or equivalent qualifications.
3. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting job, ability to maintain full set of accounts will be an advantage.
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
5. Proficient in using accounting software, such as SQL or Autocount.
6. Good oral and written communications in Chinese will be an added advantage.
7. Experience in F&B will be an added advantage.
