Job Description: Sales and Finance Executive
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales and Finance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with accountancy software, pricing strategies, preparing quotes, and providing critical support for sales functions, including sales preparation for meetings. This role requires excellent organisational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to contribute effectively to both sales and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support
• Prepare and manage sales quotations, proposals, and contracts for clients.
• Assist in sales presentations and meeting preparations, including compiling relevant data and materials.
• Support the sales team in tracking leads, updating sales pipelines, and maintaining CRM systems.
• Coordinate with clients to address queries and follow up on proposals and contracts.
2. Pricing and Financial Analysis
• Develop and implement pricing strategies in alignment with company goals and market trends.
• Analyse cost structures and profitability to optimise pricing models.
• Provide financial insights to support sales strategies and decision-making.
3. Accountancy Software Management
• Utilise accountancy software to manage financial records, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting.
• Generate financial reports to assist with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
4. Administrative Support
• Organise and maintain accurate records for sales and financial transactions.
• Coordinate between sales, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide administrative support for team activities, such as preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and reports.
5. Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure all sales and financial activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, financial metrics, and other key indicators for management review.
Key Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in sales support, finance, or a related role.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in accountancy software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, financial modeling).
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
• Communication Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
