Your responsibilities as Mechanical Site Manager (with HVAC)

Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as engineering contractor for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Mechanical Site Manager will act as will act as a representative for the engineering contractor during execution at their fabrication yard in the north of Singapore, during the fabrication of an offshore substation topside.

In your role as Mechanical Site Manager, your focus will be to ensure and oversee that the fabrication of the piping, layout, HVAC and mechanical aspects for the structure adheres to all prepared specifications and technical requirements as per the contract. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries, any non- conformances, facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the engineering contractor (your back office), Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

As such, in your role, you will:

• Relocate to the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks

This position will be responsible to compile and classify records, verify and maintain data and payments to Accounts payable and receivable records, prepare bank reconciliations as well as prepare Profit & Loss and balance sheet schedules.

• Monitor accounts receivable for aging issues, post cash receipts against open invoices and place orders, and place customers on and off credit hold
• Handle Accounts Payable duties by preparing and processing invoices and completing weekly check run
• Reconcile and analyse balance sheet accounts and prepare journal entry accounts
• Prepare quarterly sales tax and use reports as well as documentation and information requested by external auditors
• Post Cashbook entries and reconcile bank account balance to cashbook balance
• Prepare monthly journal entries and bank payments and transfers
• Track all Capital expenditure activities and move capitalized assets to fixed assets
• Handle preparation of final accounts up to Balance sheet
• Analyse balance sheet accounts at month end and prepare journal entries for US operations
• Perform monthly closing process
• Responsible for GST and S45 submission
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing detailed policies and procedures
• Answer accounts payable and receivable inquiries and follow up for internal and external customers
• Assist Finance Manager with budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with month-end inventory reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, recurring journals, general journals, accruals and reversing journal entries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least two years of relevant experience

Handle verbal & written feedback from stakeholders, public and authorities in form of emails, letters and face to face meet up.

Job Description:

- Manage cargo operations and documentation.

- Safeguard product quality and quantity.

- Ensure all cargo loading, ex bunker delivery, blending operation and delivery are in compliance with company work instructions and in particular SS648: 2019, wherever applicable.

- Ensure that custody control procedures in respect of cargo storage onboard bunker tanker and cargo movements are duly and properly implemented.

- Maintain proper and timely records of inventory in the stock movement logbook and daily ROB report.

- Report on any customer complaint or dispute to the Operations Manager immediately and assist in onsite investigation.
