We are a looking for QA/QC Engineer (Contract) to make an impact! In this role, you will be accountable to build and drive the quality processes, execution and teams for its Data Centre projects in APAC. You will work closely with the project sponsors and project management team to define the project objectives, create a plan for executing those objectives. Dependant on the systems demand, the role will include working on multiple projects or directly on a single specific project in APAC.

What will you do?

• Ensure Quality-related activities on the Project are compliance to Corporate, Project, and other applicable Regulatory requirements.
• Implement BIM360 QA/QC dashboards to show overall KPI metrics and status, and manage documentation tracking, distribution and submission through various collaboration tools.
• Generate Project high-level Plans/Guidelines to provide roadmap for key Quality related activities.
• Ensure knowledge transfer / lessons learnt of execution issues to local customer & SE teams. Ensure compliance to overall program.
• Ensure adequate and suitably qualified Quality team resources are available to support Project Quality requirements.
• Involve in Project Review in conjunction with Engineering/Construction phases of the Project and ensure appropriate closure of observations/issues raised from review, generation of final review closeout report.
• Ensure Project SOP’s/Plans/Guidelines are appropriately authorized for implementation and adequate training provided.
• Develop, implement and manage an effective Audit Schedule focusing on the key work processes, and design activities undertaken during the project lifespan.
• Review and approve Quality Records/Reports, Engineering Drawings, Change Notices/Design Modifications, Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans, etc.
• Conduct and maintain training program for relevant project personnel for Project SOP’s/GDP/GEP applications.
• Continually identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
• Implement systematic documentation turnover system for all Project Quality related documentation.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the Project walk down teams.
• Plan, prepare, review and execute project system walk down packs to transfer punch items into Master Punch list database (BIM360), approval and issuance of Construction Completion Certificate.
• Provide support and advice on Quality-related issues and resolution of engineering-related disputes.
• Responsible for any other related QAQC matters as requested by management.
• Be seen as the trusted advisor for our customer.

What qualifications will make you successful?

In this role practical experience will carry a high weighting than formal qualifications: -

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any other related discipline from recognized university.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls / Automation industry.
• Has an excellent working knowledge of the technical and operational environment in which the project deliverables are created and in which they are used.
• Must be an excellent communicator at all levels both internal and external in the project environment, be proactive and exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and geographically disbursed environment.
• Position is to be base at client’s site.
• Able to commit to the full duration of the contract

Objectives of the position:

The NPI / Production Process Engineer is required to collaborate with the Program Management Team

and be involved in New Product Introduction activities and the creation of manufacturing Work

Instructions as well as other process documents. The incumbent is also expected to improve the work

processes actively and continuously to achieve high productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

 Early involvement in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.

 Interpret technical information (documents, drawings, and data) and analyse the manufacturing

process elements.

 Create Bill of Materials structure.

 Create manufacturing Work Instructions and other process documents in collaboration with the

Program Management, Production and Quality Assurance Teams.

 Carry out time studies and update the process cycle times.

 Provide timely technical support to the Production Team pertaining to manufacturing process and

quality issues.

 Engage in DFM and Lean Line Design activities.

 Relentlessly explore, evaluate, and review new tools, equipment, processes, etc.

 Actively and continuously improve the work processes to improve work efficiency and quality.

 Work with Program Management, Production, and Quality Assurance Teams to identify potential

process risks and make recommendations to mitigate these risks.

 Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager and/or Engineering Lead.

Skills & Qualification:

 Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical/Mechatronics,

Manufacturing/Production or industrial Engineering

 Min. 3 years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably dealing with wire or cable

harness. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Asst. Engineer position

 Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

 Basic manufacturing knowledge in cable harness assemblies, plastics and sheet metal preferred

 Experienced in the creation Bill of Materials structures

 Good knowledge on Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred.

 Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

 Lean/Six Sigma certification is desirable

 Strong analytical ability

 Team player with good communication skills

• Act as primary customer contact, and provide technical support and regular update to customers on project development in a timely manner.
• Communicate and co-ordinate with clients and relevant parties pertaining to the technical requirements and engineering aspects of the assigned projects.
• Review / prepare, administer and implement Quality Assurance Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other Operational procedures in accordance to the project specifications, client's surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practices, and enforce the same on Operations in their project execution.
• Provide expertise and advisory support to enable operations are effectively and responsibly execute, and consistently maintain, quality workmanship and conformance to design and project specifications, and good manufacturing / engineering practices.
• Plan, monitor and control projects from the receipt of orders through to installation / completion at the customer's site. Additionally to review and competently controlled the completion of project within the allocated budgets and schedules.
• Responsible for getting project acceptance by customers.
• Lead the cross-functional project team and work closely among inter-department to ensure committed schedules are met in a timely and effectively manner.
• Participate in the implementation of risk assessment and risk control of medical devices.

Competence Requirements

• Preferred to have NTC / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Precision Engineering or equivalent.

Requirements

Experience with Data engineering tools (Python, Spark (Scala or Python), Hadoop).

Experience with relational (oracle, MySQL, MS Sql) or NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.

Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark- Streaming, etc Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala,etc

Experience on Cloudera/ Data bricks/ Snowflakes platforms will be added advantage

Experience with Cloud (Aws, Azure or Google).

JOB SCOPE

Our clien is looking a experience analog chip designer engineer, this candidate must have at least 3 year work experience in similar role.

Your job responsiblities are:

-Use simulation tools to predict circuit behavior, identify potential issues.

- Design and develop high performance digital standard cell libraries tailored to meet critcal design specification, performance, power consumption.

- Work closely with layout design team to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of the physical layout of both analog and digital standard cells.

- Competent in PERL, TCL, Python and C++.

- Proficiency in schematic Capture & Simulation ( Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre)
