Assists the Construction Manager in overseeing day-to-day site works. This person will need to ensure site safety. Use of cranes at site involves many people from various organisations, such as the crane manufacturer, site occupier, crane contractor, and various sub-contractors that use the cranes.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification / Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
• Completed the Appointed Persons - Lifting Operations Course conducted by IES or equivalent course approved by the Engineer.
• Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil Projects.

• As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems.
• Much of our support and software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and reducing work through automation.
• You’ll join a team of curious problem solvers with a diverse set of perspectives who are thinking big and taking risks.
• As an SRE you’ll be focused on running better production applications and systems.
• SRE is a key contributor to core infrastructure and functional development teams throughout the life cycle to help support software for reliability and scale.
• Key areas of focus include automation, application/platform uptime and quality, packaging/distribution techniques, platform design “operability”, analytics, deployment, adoption, and tool development, among others.
• The position will wear many hats from owning day to day health and performance, to identifying incidents/developing remediation plans, to working with open source software and experienced packaging techniques, to working with development teams and contributing to the strategic roadmap and execution.
• Candidates from a variety of software, platform, or automation engineering backgrounds will be considered for this position.

The day-to-day activities:

• Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work
• Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
• Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes
• Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
• Perform the L1/L2/L3 support activities for the Production Support project with analysis and design work, including impact of requirements across all system components
• Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
• Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
• Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed

The must haves:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar.
• 1-3+ years professional experience in a software management position.
• Experience with dockers / containers / k8s.
• Direct production operations experience in a cloud environment.
• Experience contributing to technology and product strategy.
• Experience leading capability building initiatives across diverse areas such as infrastructure and operations automation, software quality, delivery automation and other core engineering.
• Demonstrated experience of driving operational efficiency and transparency of a growing engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for construction projects.
• Prepare detailed project plans and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
• Review and approve electrical designs and plans.
• Ensure all electrical systems are safe and operational.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering technologies and practices.
• Prepare and present reports on project progress and electrical issues.
• Manage and supervise electrical contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on electrical matters.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
• Assist in the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
• Provide raining and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

We are seeking a dedicated Site Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing on-site construction activities, managing project costs, and ensuring the delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision:

• Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure quality standards and project timelines are met.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical and site issues.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Quantity Surveying:

• Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and cost control.

• Measure and value construction work for progress claims and final accounts.

• Evaluate and prepare variations and extension of time claims.

• Manage procurement processes, including tender evaluations and material take-offs.

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, progress reports, and material records.

• Prepare and submit progress claims, invoices, and other contractual documents.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on project updates and requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related fields.

• 6 years of experience in site supervision and quantity surveying, preferably in residential or landed housing projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in Singapore.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and quantity surveying software.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
