Requirements:

Responsibilities:

· Supervise the contractors’ works to ensure that work is carried in compliance with the design intent, specifications and quality of works required under the terms of contract.

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Work Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all activities related to the installation of ACMV systems, ensuring that work is carried out according to the project timeline.

• Installation Supervision: Monitor the installation of ACMV systems such as ducting, piping, chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), BMS system, ESCS system, Jet Fan system and other components.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that the installation is carried out according to safety regulations and that all team members are adhering to safety protocols (e.g., wearing PPE, following safety guidelines).

3. Technical Support & Problem Solving

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical /site issues, constraint that arise during installation, working closely with engineers and technicians to provide solutions.
• Technical Assistance: Provide on-site technical support to ensure the correct assembly and installation of ACMV systems as per the design specifications.
• Adjustment & Modification: Recommend and implement necessary adjustments or modifications during the installation process to address unforeseen issues or improve efficiency.

4. Liaison with Stakeholders

• Client Interaction: Act as the main point of contact between the client and the project team, ensuring that the client's requirements and expectations are met.
• Coordination with Engineers: Work closely with Supervisor, Engineers, Designers, BIM team and Project Manager to ensure the installation meets design specifications and standards.
• Reporting: Provide regular progress updates and reports to Project Managers, Site engineers, and other relevant stakeholders.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including daily site reports, inspection reports, and material usage logs.

6. Inspection & Testing

7. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance

• Safety Training: Conduct safety briefings and ensure all workers are trained in safety practices specific to ACMV installation.
• Environmental Compliance: Ensure that installation practices are environmentally friendly, reducing wastage, managing emissions, and recycling materials where possible.

• Site Attendance: To attend everyday morning exercise and tool box meeting as per main con scheduled timing, conduct site walk to check and monitor site progress and arrange subcon workers and direct workers for necessary work to carry out.
• Permit Application: Apply Permit to Work (PTW) and other necessary permit such as Work at height, hot work, confined space, etc via main con NOVADE application platform.

8. Coordination of Multiple Trades

• Ensure that products assembled and tested conforms to specifications and are in accordance to the quality standard laid out.
• Performs assembly and test processess according to establised process / test instructions.

Requirments

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Working experience with assembling in mechanical or Electrical will be advantage
• Equipment setup assembling, testing and debug of capital equipment experience will be added advantages
• Working area : Woodlands (will be clean room enviornment) / Kaki Bukit

Role & Responsibilty

• Responsible for quantity take-offs and Cost Control functions for projects.
• Subcontracts management.
• Supervisor and Plan for Daily work schedule and progress for requirement for targeted completion.
• Tracking of Subcontractors/ Suppliers obligations required as per agreement.
• Administering variations to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Preparation of progress certificates for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
• Identification and pricing of variations to the Contract.
• Assist in preparation of monthly commercial report.
• Maintaining registers of variations, extension of time claims.
• Liaising effectively with other Technician, engineers and supervisors to ensure all relevant information in relation to variations. and extension of time claims is captured.
• Any other duties as may be required by the Company.

• Check and record initial readings on new meters and final readings on old meters, including photographic records
• Service Includes taking records of works in progress/completed, ensuring work procedures and safety measures are carried out as specified, reporting any incident promptly, maintaining close contact with PUB officers, managing and tracking the movement of meters including related fittings, supervision of metering works as directed and in accordance with daily check sheets.
• Carrying out site visit to check on the meter condition, interviewing customers to establish the facts, taking additional meter readings on site for analysis.

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities on the site, ensuring that work is progressing as per the project schedule and plans
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination among different parties involved in the project
• Monitor construction quality and ensure that work is being carried out according to approved plans, specifications, and industry standards
• Enforce and promote safety measures and regulations on the construction site to ensure the well-being of workers and compliance
• Coordinate site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment allocation, and workforce management to ensure efficient utilization of resources
• Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the project's progress, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposing corrective actions
• Monitor and control project costs by tracking expenses, material usage, and labor hours, and identify areas where cost-saving measures can be implemented
• Assist Project Manager in proposal and review of M&E Design and drawings
• Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues
• Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor of Degree in Mechanical Engineeringor related equivalent
• 7 year of experiences as engineer in construction sector
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
• Familiarity with relevant construction codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficiency in using construction management software and tools such as CAD and Revit
• Knowledge in safety management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership abilities to manage and guide on-site teams effectively
• Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges
