Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading a team in the management of warehouse operations to achieve the operations key performance index and the required service standards. This may include managing the warehousing and inventory management system, physical distribution operations, implementing logistics technology, customer liaison and relationship, organization development and training.

Primary Responsibilities

• To lead and manage at least one operation of company’s logistics operations (Warehousing & Transportation) including monitoring and achievement of Operation Key Performance Index i.e. Order Accuracy, Safety, Housekeeping and Security of Operation, Warehouse turn-around-time, Billing and documentation, Inventory Management (Control, Accuracy and level), Overtime Ratio & Labour Productivity.

• Review and management of Revenue & Expense of operations including Continuous monitoring of expenses, Accurate application of revenue, Negotiate and reduce costs on hired contractors, verify and authorize payment(s), Continuous sourcing of contractors,, management & maintenance of assets and maximize profitability.

• Review of Operation status with customers & management on a timely and regular basis.

• Provide management report on operation status and budget figures on a timely and regular basis.

• Manage and Develop the entire operation team which may include; Staff training plan, Recruitment of operations staff, Staff development activity and Ensure efficient communication between inter-departments.

• Managed all related matters pertaining to facility, safety and security issues.

• To maintain good working relationships with customers.

• As required, assist sales team in securing new business, including; conduct of facility tours, presentations on operations, site visits for customers to present capabilities and / or gather data and coordination effort with engineering and IT teams.

Requirement

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent, Diploma Holders of similar fields are also considered.

• Total 10 years working experience with minimum 5 years in the Logistic Industry, preferred in similar capacity.

• Good working knowledge of the following operations areas – distribution, inventory planning, network analysis, materials management.

Overall Responsibilities

The Regional Assistant Manager/Manager plays a pivotal role in working together with the Partner to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Company across SEA. He/She will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for managing regional portfolios.

Through effective planning and budgeting, the Regional Assistant Manager/Manager will strive to achieve his/her quarterly/annual revenue target.

Main Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Team/Client Management and Service

• Management of clients inclusive of ensuring full compliance on Licensors’ policies, procedures, guidelines and supporting licensees in fulfilling obligations and maximizing performance.
• In consultation with Partner, design appropriate business management calendar inclusive of sales strategy, marketing activities, brand-building objectives and manage regional team activities related to client services, licensee sell in, retail programs, sell-through support etc.
• Report to Partner on all key initiatives, reporting requirements, compliance monitoring, and other core functions as related to client management.

Monitor Licensee Obligations

• Conduct regular business review with key licensees to ensure product development, product
  penetration to all distribution channels, advertising and promotion plans are rolled out as per contractual obligations.
• Retail Visibility for Brands/Licensed Products
• Work closely with PLS regional marketing team to cultivate and direct key retail accounts on behalf of Licensor and its partners, working closely with all stakeholders to build appropriate retail relationships and secure prominent product placement at retail.

Account Receivables

• Work with Finance team to ensure that licensees remit the License Fee and submit monthly/quarterly royalty report on time.
