Job Description:The Strategic Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing the procurement processes within the oil and gas project. Responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. The incumbent will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance professionals, to identify procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies that align with project goals. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a strategic procurement role within the oil and gas industry.
3. Deep understanding of the oil and gas industry supply chain, including knowledge of equipment, materials, and service providers.
4. Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives that drive cost savings and operational efficiency.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
6. Excellent analytical abilities, with experience in conducting market research, analyzing supplier capabilities, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
7. Proficiency in contract management, including drafting and negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
8. Experience with procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, and spend analysis tools.
9. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functional teams.
10. Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
