• Carry out daily site supervision, coordination and quality assurance of all architectural/Structural/M&E trades on site ;
• Work closely with subcontractors on their works to ensure timely work progress ;
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approved specifications ;
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge in Architectural/Structural/M&E works ;
• Diploma or Relevant Trade Certificate ;
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in architectural/Structural/M&E works ;
• Able to work independently and in a team

Job Scope

• Develop and implement detailed lifting plans, including load calculations, equipment selection and site setup
• Monitor and supervise all lifting activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate lifting operations
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with lifting activities
• Provide technical guidance and support to the site team
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all lifting operations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of lifting procedures and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry
• Proven track record of managing complex lifting operations and ensuring safety compliance
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of lifting software and equipment
• Familiarity with LTA project requirements and regulations

Jacobs Singapore would like to welcome a Site Technical Officer to join our Water team working on exciting Sewer upgrading projects across South and West of Singapore. Jacobs role is The Client's Representative for contract supervision works. Main duties:

• Based on site, working alongside the Project Manager, Engineers, and Public Relation Officers managing stakeholders at the project.
• Carry outstanding supervision of the works in progress on-site.
• Supervising and verifying contractors’ CCTV video and inspection reports.

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in site supervision; working experience in sewerage projects will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to obtain Certificate of WSQ Supervise Work in Confined Spaced Operation (previously known as Safety Instruction Course for Supervisors – Manhole (SIC)). Training will be provided.
• Willingness to obtain Certification either under the WRc Sewer Pipeline Assessment and Certification Programme, SgSTT’s Pipeline Assessment Certification Programme, or WSQ Certified Used Water Collection Technician. Training will be provided.
