o Assisting testing and commissioning works

o Arranging materials and equipment.

o Arranging special tools etc

o Communicating effectively with the electrical site supervisor, project manager, other subcontractors, and inspectors.

o Communicating with various stake holders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), SBST, LTA.

o Any other ad-hoc works assigned by project manager and construction manager.

Requirements

o Diploma or ITE in Electrical and Electronics

o Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience at complex project site.

o LRT/MRT E&M project experience is added advantage.

o Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations

o Ability to work as a team with motivation, technical knowledge required for material controlling

o Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals

o Strong commitment to the job

o Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment.

o Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff, and individuals both inside and outside the organization.

o Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Able to operate computer programs under Windows such as: MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the main site responsible person for the execution of the project
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Managing, monitoring, and interpreting the site progress
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and the general workforce involved in the project
• Communicating with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers, and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on-site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork

Requirements

• Candidate must have diploma in civil engineering
• Successful candidate must have at least 1 year of working experience in MRT projects.
• Successful candidate must have previous lifting experience or holds a valid lifting certificate in Singapore
• Hands on experience in Diaphragm Wall and bored-piling is a must.
