• Prepare the ITP (inspection and test plan) documents, job hazard analysis (JHA) and risk assessment report for the assigned tasks in consultation with supervisor
• Monitor progress against the program milestones for on-time completion; Monitor production rate and provide feedback to supervisor on resource allocation
• Check workmanship and quality against specifications in drawings and ITP requirements; Perform other quality tests as required
• Provide inputs to supervisor to minimize wastage and optimize material/labour costs; Allocate costs under the correct code

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Has at least 5 years of working experience with infrastructure projects
• Has previously worked on utilities and sewer diversion works
• Possess good communication skills and able to work with minimum supervision

Bayes is representing a European Facade-Major on key hires as they scale-up their business across South-East Asia. We are presently seeking Project/Site Engineers as part of their hiring plans.

• Work with Project Manager to manage project-related tasks (Facade Installation) to achieve the project objectives on time and within the cost target by strictly enforcing quality, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the entire duration of the project.
• Ensure performance targets are achieved.
• Provide regular site progress update status to project manager.
• Conduct weekly site progress meeting with subcontractors, monitor and supervise to ensure the subcontractors comply to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Drawing team

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience - comfortable to work on 5.5 days workweek
• Experienced in Construction/M&E industry/Building Materials
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, Outlook
• Local construction knowledge
