As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organisation and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations of the group, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
- Prepare management reports, monthly/quarterly forecasts, budgets and analysis for senior management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulations.
- Manage and monitor the company's financial performance, providing regular reports and analysis to the senior management team.
- Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimise financial resources to support the company's operational needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Operations, and HR, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions, to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and maintain positive relationships.
- Stay updated with industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
At least 3 years experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
Proficient in financial software. Knowledge of Quickbooks is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
