Integrated Wellness Centre
The Integrated Wellness Centre (IWC) is a Collective Impact Project that aims to create an inclusive, safe, and youth-centric wellness space. With the commitment of stakeholders from the people-public-private sectors (3P), the IWC is designed to break the barriers of help-seeking, improve youth’s quality-of-life, mental health, and well-being.
The IWC adopts a hybrid model, where the physical shopfront will be complemented with digital outreach, support and resources. It will provide a one-stop space with robust wellness activities and mental health services to engage and support youths and their caregivers.
About the Role
As the appointed backbone agency, SHINE is responsible for convening, facilitating and engaging stakeholders within the Collective working on the IWC. Be part of the team working alongside the Collective’s Steering Committee to 1) guide the vision and strategic direction of the IWC and 2) coordinate the efforts of partners and stakeholders to curate enterprising and engaging activities and integrate services and initiatives for the project.
As the Social Worker of the Backbone Team, he/she will be responsible for the following roles:
1. Stakeholder Management & Partnerships
· Develop professional, constructive & positive working relationships with internal stakeholders in the Collective as well as external partners/government bodies, ensuring a high level of alignment between stakeholders’ needs and the Collective needs
· Maintain a highly effective flow of communication with members of the Collective and possessing a high level of maturity in facilitating discussions and managing complex dynamics together as the backbone team
· Identify, engage and assess potential contributors and vendors from the people, private and public sectors to contribute to the Collective’s common agenda via suite of events and offerings.
· Clearly articulate the vision, mission and purpose of the Collective, and be a compelling voice representing IWC’s work to the larger community
2. Strategic Thinking & Sustainability
· Assist Head of IWC in the development and execution of the Collective strategic plans
· Evaluate the Collective’s outcomes and performance, and identify areas for strategic improvements
· Work closely with Wellness Concierge team to align resources and objectives
· Work alongside Head of IWC to create, implement & manage strategies that promote environmental, social and financial sustainability
3. Programming
· Work with the team and members of the Collective to plan and create a robust calendaring of IWC wellness offerings for youths and their caregivers.
· Work with the team and stakeholders to plan, manage and execute events organized by the Collective
4. Facilitation
· Work with the team to plan and execute steering committee and action group meetings with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and stakeholders
5. Data Management
· Analyze and interpret data for the Collective
· Share and report progress to the Collective/stakeholders
6. Administrative Duties
· Prepare reports, presentations and notes of meeting to communicate the Collective’s achievements and impact
· Coordinate meetings with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and stakeholders
· Communicate updates and events to the Collective using suitable channels
· Perform any other administrative duties or projects, as required
Personnel Specification
Technical Competencies:
- Bachelor/Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work, preferably with 3 years of relevant experience in social services
- Registered with respective professional associations (Singapore Association of Social Workers)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good administration and organizational skills
Core Competencies:
- Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and stakeholders
- Team player and equally adept at working independently
- Pleasant disposition with a willingness to learn
