Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Head of Social Media Content Writing/Scriptwriting to lead and manage our content team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, digital trends, and creating impactful content for various social media platforms. As the HOD, you will be responsible for overseeing the team’s creative direction, ensuring alignment with brand messaging, and driving engagement through innovative strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:Develop and implement content strategies for social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement.
   Stay updated with the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices to maintain the brand’s competitive edge.
   
2. Team Management:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of social media content writers and scriptwriters.
   Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
   Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the team.
   
3. Content Oversight:Review and approve scripts, captions, and other content to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with the brand’s voice.
   Guide the team in crafting compelling scripts for video content, including TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long-form storytelling.
   
4. Cross-Department Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to create cohesive and visually engaging campaigns.
   Coordinate with stakeholders to understand campaign goals and ensure timely delivery of content.
   
5. Performance Analysis:Use analytics tools to track the performance of social media content and campaigns.
   Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future content.
   
6. Innovation and Creativity:Drive creative brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas and new approaches for content creation.
   Experiment with new formats, styles, and storytelling techniques to captivate audiences.
   
7. Budget Management:Manage the department’s budget for content production, tools, and resources.
   Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize output and quality.
   

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media content writing, scriptwriting, or a related role.
• Proven track record in a leadership position, managing content teams and delivering successful campaigns.

Skills and Qualities:

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience behaviors.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a knack for motivating creative teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in analytics tools for tracking content performance (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in video content creation or production is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with content management systems and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

Job Responsibilities

Casework & Counselling, Information & Referral

1. Provide Information and Referral services
2. Provide case intake for walk-in clients
3. Handle up to 30 cases as assigned, maintain client’s records and monitor their progress
4. Activate the cases in each quarter and ensure timely closure for inactive cases that are no longer in need of service
5. Complete case recordings timely
6. Provide timely response and relevant intervention to clients
7. Collaborate with relevant partners in addressing the concerns faced by the family through case conferences and other collaborative intervention
8. Attend regular supervision for case direction, support and enhancement of clinical skills

Community Work and Groupwork

1. Be a member of the Community Work Task Group
2. Assess the needs and requirements of the community within the FSC boundary for intervention
3. Plan, organise, execute and evaluate community work interventions
4. Develop the proposal paper for a Groupwork project
5. Coordinate, facilitate and evaluate the groupwork

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work; preferably an accredited Social Worker
2. Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in social work setting
3. Has a pleasant disposition, with good communication and interpersonal skills

Description:

Our Medical Social Workers collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of stakeholders to regularly review individual residents' medical, nursing, therapy, and social aspects as part of delivering person-centric care. They will be involved in the means-testing review, and provide fair payment proposals, financial application assistance, and any appropriate assistance based on the social & economic status of the family and/or resident.

Admissions

• Provide financial counseling upon admission
• Co-ordinate an assessment on site of the patient to assess nursing/rehab status/behavioral and any social concerns

Case Conference

• Review social aspects inward with regards to activity participation, visitors and befriending, financial consideration status, etc.
• Provide therapy/nursing/medical/social recommendations and support family and resident to complete home discharge or other care options
• Review supporting documents for referral to other care options and seek financial assistance for home equipping as recommended by the therapist where required
• Provide counseling to patients with psychosocial issues
• Facilitate family conferences for discussion on financial considerations, if necessary
• Work with the Nursing team to review care for residents and understand their social situation

Financial Assistance Schemes

• Work with resident or next-of-kin on financial considerations (e.g. Government Means Test subsidy)
• Review cases and facilitate meetings for Medifund cases
• Apply for financial assistance (e.g. Means Test, Medifund, IDAPE, ELDERSHIELD, MFEC)

Reports

• Update residents' profile and movement in database
• Review next-of-kin details and update residents' social report
• Review residents accounts receivable status report
• Supervision/Development of team members
• Manage and supervise team members in case management team
• Guide on the professional development of team members

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Social Work
• Min 2 to 3 years of social worker experience
