Responsibilities:

• Managing the service desk team
• Awareness of end user needs and changing requirements
• Command and control leadership – ability to understand the problem, analyse and account for incidents
• Manage the service delivery team to successful execution of daily production duties
• Lead technical discussions within the service desk team
• Escalate all production / non-production issues to the relevant teams and stakeholders
• Proactive engagement on all high priority incidents, identify under-reported issues and flag potential pitfalls
• Provide post mortem analysis and reports of incidents
• Authoritatively and confidently guide escalation tickets to resolution

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree within a given technical field
• 7 – 10 years of operations management
• 7 – 10 years in a technical role with expertise in one or more of the following technical disciplines (networking, security, storage, servers)
• 5+ years of experience managing teams especially business service operational support
• Articulating high level business requirements to senior management
• Ability to develop strong rapport and build relationships across departments and at multiple levels of the organisation

Responsibilities:

We are looking for compliance personnel to assist in enhancing the compliance risk framework of the company. The candidate will help to manage and execute the compliance programs, provide policy guidance and to carry out compliance training for the company’s diversified investment business groups. Depending on the candidate’s experience, duties will include the following:

• Conduct compliance reviews and monitoring/surveillance across the company’s business activities;

• Develop risk-based compliance programs to facilitate the execution of compliance reviews and monitoring;

We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to join the social media team in Lianhe Zaobao's China News desk. You will be expected to:

● Develop an innovative content strategy for our XHS, TikTok, and Bilibili accounts using data, audience insights, trends, and competitor research

● Expand Zaobao’s reach on the abovementioned platforms by exploring new engagement methods with the Content Producers

● Optimise content strategy for audience growth through SEO, multi-channel promotion, A/B testing and content scheduling

● Increase engagement by producing, testing, and optimizing diverse content formats like reels, carousels, and stories

● Cultivate strong, positive and engaging relationships with followers by responding promptly to comments, messages, and discussions

● Set KPIs, track social media metrics and produce regular performance reports for each platform and campaign.

● Conduct social media monitoring, research, and analysis to provide insights and recommendations, and identify new engagement opportunities; partner the Content Producers for implementation in future content

Requirements

You will be expected to:

● Create, shoot, edit, and publish engaging TikTok content tailored for Chinese audiences interested in current affairs, using formats like short videos and memes, to increase the brand awareness of Zaobao among the community

● Collaborate with producers, videographers, and editors to brainstorm, plan, shoot, and edit TikTok videos

● Design and produce visual assets for social media, including carousel posts, memes, and graphics

● Edit short videos independently

● Present content through on-camera hosting or skits

● Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platforms, and innovate content production to stay relevant

Requirements

● Degree/Diploma in Media Studies, Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design preferred

● Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (written and spoken) as this role is for a Chinese publication
