SHECARES@SCWO is an initiative by SG Her Empowerment Limited (“SHE”), in collaboration with SCWO (Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations).

SHECARES@SCWO renders assistance to persons experiencing gender based online harms, also known as tech-facilitated gender-based violence. Our services are open to all, including men and women.

We provide help through calls on helpline, text messages through textline, and face-to-face counselling services for victims of gender-based online harms. Examples of the types of harms faced by our clients include online impersonation, cyberbullying, image-based sexual abuse, doxing and others We also collaborate with Pro-Bono SG (PBSG) to provide clients with pro bono legal assistance through regular legal clinics. Victims may also require guidance on filing reports with the police and/or social media platforms.

SHECARES@SCWO provides information on resources for online harm and referrals for other services to our community partners. We also conduct public education and training sessions for community partners about online harms, and how to tackle this growing issue.

SHECARES@SCWO is hiring a full-time Intern to provide assistance and support to victims of gender-based online harm and to be involved in the centre’s day-to-day operations and programme management. The Job:

Job Description

1. Gameplay and System Design Responsible for designing gameplay and systems for social casual games.
   
2. Planning and Collaboration Draft detailed planning documents and communicate requirements clearly with developers and artists to ensure high-quality system delivery.

1. Extensive Game System Design Experience Over 5 years of experience in system planning for casual or card games, with familiarity with hyper-casual, mini-games, and social games.
   
2. Regional Expertise At least 2 years of experience with casual game products in the Middle East or South Asia, capable of independently conducting social game research, planning, and iteration.
   
3. Strong Communication and Coordination Skills Exceptional abilities to communicate and coordinate across departments, ensuring collaboration to drive product improvements. Language requirements: Native English and Mandarin speakers only to liaise with international and Chinese stakeholders, Business level of Arabic to liaise with Middle East stakeholders.
