Our Business Risk Services team helps organisations tackle issues around governance, risk, and controls so that they can make strategic and risk-informed decisions. We support financial institutions and other businesses by conducting internal audits, assessing the effectiveness of their internal audit teams, reviewing internal controls, advising on regulatory compliance, and improving governance through enterprise risk management.

The role

As a Business Risk Manager / Senior Manager, you will be a key important member of the team, committed to support the management team in developing and growing the business risk services practice, and help to build and maintain relationships with clients and play a key role in the successful delivery of services to our clients. You will be responsible for organising and overseeing the various types of projects including internal audits, risk management and regulatory compliance projects and manage a team of senior and junior consultants.

In addition, you will be supporting the growth of the department through some business development work. This role offers a great variety of work, autonomy, client contact and Partners’ direct interaction and coaching to the seniors and junior staff.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Manager role includes:

• Perform risk assessments on key business activities and determine the scope of review, in conjunction with the clients’ senior management
• Plan the engagement/ audit approach and prepare the work program and oversee the delivery of the engagement/ audit from planning to completion, including performance of review of the team members’ work
• Actively participate in issues discussion with client key stakeholders and seek to understand the broader impact of the issues/gaps identified in the engagements/ audit reviews

Qualifications and requirements

• Recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related field
• At least 5-7 years (for Manager role) / 5-12 years (for Senior Manager role) of relevant professional experience gained in internal audit, or risk/compliance in commercial or in a big public accounting firm
• Professional qualification (CPA, CA, CIA) is highly preferred
• Demonstrated good industry knowledge in financial services/banking, oil and gas, and others

Facilities Manager

Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our client's campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both hard and soft services management, excellent client communication skills, and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Campus Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the client's campus facilities
• Ensure all buildings and systems are functioning optimally

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all operations comply with relevant health and safety regulations
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement improvements as needed
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures

Hard Services Management:

• Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

Soft Services Management:

• Oversee cleaning and janitorial services
• Manage security operations and access control systems
• Coordinate landscaping and grounds maintenance

Client Reporting:

• Conduct client meetings to discuss campus needs and improvements

Data Analysis:

• Collect and analyze data on energy consumption, maintenance costs, service levels, and other key performance indicators
• Use data insights to optimize facility operations and reduce costs

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets for both hard and soft services
• Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and train facilities staff, including both in-house and outsourced service providers
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Foster a culture of customer service excellence among all facility staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in facilities management, with demonstrated expertise in both hard and soft services
• Strong knowledge of building systems, soft services management, and service level agreements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Experience in managing diverse teams and service providers
