The Experimental Drug Development Centre is recruiting a software developer to develop scientific applications to support the R&D work of the company.

The applicant should be a strong programmer and technologist who is interested to work closely with colleagues in various scientific departments to enhance their data management and analysis process.

Job Responsibilities:

· Support assigned scientific departments on all aspects of information technology

· Design and implement scripts, standalone and web applications

· Analyse user requirements to inform application design

· Define application objectives and functionality

· Align application design with business goals

· Develop and test software

· Debug and resolve technical problems that arise

· Produce detailed design documentation

· Recommend changes to existing infrastructure

· Develop documentation and train users.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree in a computer related field with significant programming skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and development training management system for Temasek Poly, NYP, Ngee Ann Poly, Republic Poly, Singapore Poly, Institute of Technical Education.
• Run technical workshops with customers for requirement gathering.
• Customize the software modules according to customer’s requirements in Azure.
• Responsible for providing and presenting the documentation of technical design documents.
• Working closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, BA, and QA.
• Collaborate with other developers, UI/UX designers, BA, QA, and PM to ensure consistent project execution.
• Designing and developing software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree or above from Top Universities, Computer Science or related majors are preferred, solid basic knowledge on Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Education software implementation and deployment.
• 3+ years experience with .NET Application, SQL Server, React/JSX, HTML5.
• Experience with Agile software development process, CI/CD in Azure.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good to have:

Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.

Main Responsibilities

· Participate to the automation of the deployment solution.

· Participate in environment preparation for testing phases.

· Participate in developing tools to simplify day-to-day activities on the program.

· Facilitate coordination between program developers and infrastructure engineers.

· Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of the CI-CD pipeline.

· Provide investigation help while fostering knowledge and sharing best practices with team members.

· Document processes and ensure their properly followed.

· Ensure high standard delivery to production.

· Research, design, and develop software.

Qualifications and Profile

MUST HAVE

· At least 8 years in Software development or DevOps team.

· At least 5 years in Java/J2EE development

· At least 5-year experience with Jenkins, GIT (GitLab)

· At least 3-year experience in Ansible

· At least 3-year experience in GitLAb

Good to Have

· Experience with DevOps methodology & tools like Jenkins, GIT (GitLab), Ansible, Docker/ Kurbernetes, CICD pipeline, Java dev context for the tooling, Database or Big Data storage systems, Grafana / Prometheus / Alert Manager / ELK / Kibana, Jira etc.

· Experience of grid computing.

· Basic understanding of finance and investment banking especially Market Risk.
