Lead Enterprise Architect

The Lead Enterprise Architect is accountable for proactively and holistically leading enterprise responses to disruptive forces by identifying and analysing the execution of change toward the desired business vision and targeted outcomes. The lead enterprise architect is responsible for taking a practical approach to supporting the business. This starts and ends with a focus on delivering signature-ready, actionable recommendations to business leaders, so they can adjust policies and projects to achieve target business outcomes.

Experienced, Practicing architect with in-depth experience in Java/JEE technologies.Extensive experience in the IT industry and having good knowledge in software development and architecture. Good knowledge of new frameworks, platform trends in the space of Cloud Computing , API Management, Microservices, distributed systems, (Incl. Kubernetes, Dockers, Kafka).

Candidate with Enterprise Architecture experience and can offer his solutions across the portfolio in consultation with Client. It is an Overarching role and spans across various engagements. This is going to be a long-term role and the candidate should establish very good connect with Customer , define roadmap/strategy, drive initiatives and grow.

Mandatory Technology Skills

• Responsible for multiple technology capabilities to deliver across all business lines for Fortune 50 Banking and Financial Customers.
• Hands-on Experience required to work on POCs, POTs across multiple technologies
• Ensures various architecture principles are translated into solution architecture and then into engineering products/solutions to implementation
• Ensures non-function requirements such as performance requirements, availability requirements are designed and delivered
• Work with the Customer Enterprise Architecture teams and CXO Teams for critical decisions for strategic investment in Technology
• Assesses and evaluates emerging technology capabilities (like DevOps, Open Banking, API and Microservices, IoT, Robotics, VR/AR, Block Chain) for compatibility, scalability, and viability
• Educate the Customers on the technology trends and guide them in adopting into their organization
• Defines a vision that traverses the technology stack from User-Experience / Customer-Experience, data-driven strategic analysis and customer insights, cloud provisioning and embedding digitally enabled scalable architecture
• Any Cloud Certification
• Ability to challenge the Technology solutions provided by various Vendors and in-house teams to propose an optimal solution
• Optimise the Technology assets by consolidation of existing applications and remove redundancies and cost saves
• Ability to identify the hotspots in the current application landscape and provide solutions to rectify
• Able to solve complex, multi-dimensional problems and deal comfortably with abstraction/fuzzy problems resulting in a robust, highly-scalable, and well-architected solution.
• Ability to provide design direction on large multi-tiered/complex applications & Participate in RFP/RFQ /Proactive proposals – business development activities.
• Help teams to deliver robust solutions consistently and guide engineering teams toward a common methodology/standardization.
• Ability to produce various design documents for example Software Architecture document, security architecture document, interface specification etc.
• Ensures Code Design and its Quality for Application across the portfolio & Participate in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions & drive DevSecOps roll-out.
• Help Customer in their technology roadmap, Digital Journey and share industry views

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our team in developing and optimizing underwater communication networks. This role focuses on maintaining and improving UnetStack, our open software framework for underwater networking for embedded platforms, developing efficient communication protocols and integrating cutting-edge embedded hardware to create a compelling product. Key Responsibilities:

• UnetStack Development & Maintenance:Enhance and maintain the UnetStack framework and its agents for underwater communication networks.
  Develop optimized protocol agents to improve bandwidth efficiency and reliability.
  
• Embedded Systems Integration:Interface with and adapt UnetStack to run on new embedded hardware platforms.
  Debug and optimize communication systems for compatibility with various hardware configurations.
  
• Sensor and Modem Driver Development:Develop and integrate sensor drivers for UnetStack-compatible devices, such as acoustic and optical modems.
  Ensure robust data acquisition and real-time communication in underwater environments.
  
• Simulation and Testing:Utilize the Unet simulator for protocol development and performance testing.
  Conduct simulations in both real-time and discrete-event modes to validate network configurations.
  
• Collaboration & Documentation:Work closely with researchers and hardware engineers to meet project objectives.
  Maintain clear, structured documentation for protocols, driver implementations, and hardware integrations.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong software engineering skills with a focus on higher-level programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, or Julia.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software systems.
• Solid understanding of modern development practices, including version control, testing frameworks, and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with distributed software architecture for modular, extensible systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with UnetStack or other frameworks for communication networks.
• Knowledge of acoustic, optical, or RF communication technologies is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools, particularly the Unet simulator.
• Experience with embedded Linux systems and low-level software development.
