• Strong understanding across any of the Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and its components (compute, storage, network, data, middleware components, serverless compute, security, Orchestrated containers/K8S) to deliver end to- end infrastructure architecture solutioning for the clients
• Cloud services like different types of storage services, relational databases, NoSQL offerings, compute services, alerting and notification services, audit and security services, HA with load balancers
• Good understanding of network connectivity in a multi-cloud environment (virtual network, gateways, public/private/elastic ips.)
• Hands-on experience on containerization (docker file creation, deployment manifest file creation, etc.)

Overview
We are seeking a seasoned AWS Technical Architect to design, implement, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation using Terraform, and in-depth knowledge of networking, compute, storage, database, monitoring, and alerting solutions. This role is critical to ensuring our cloud infrastructure is secure, scalable, and efficient.

Preferred Skills
Experience with GCC and IM8 policies is essential. Additionally, proficiency with advanced AWS tools and frameworks like Kinesis, Chime, OpenSearch, and Generative AI (GenAI) using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture and Design:

• Design and implement highly available, resilient, and scalable architectures on AWS, covering networking, compute, storage, and database solutions.
• Architect solutions leveraging AWS best practices for security, cost optimization, and performance.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Develop, maintain, and manage Terraform configurations for automated provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Implement best practices in version control, modularization, and reuse to ensure IaC maintainability and scalability.

3. Networking and Security:

• Design secure VPC architectures, subnets, routing, VPNs, and peering connections for multi-region and hybrid environments.
• Manage security groups, network ACLs, and identity access management (IAM) to ensure a secure AWS environment.

4. Compute, Storage, and Database Solutions:

• Leverage AWS services like EC2, ECS Fargate, and Lambda for compute workloads, based on application needs.
• Design scalable storage solutions using S3, EBS, and EFS.
• Architect and optimize database solutions with RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora.

5. Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting:

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) to ensure observability and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Set up proactive alerts and monitoring for performance and security issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.

Summary:

The Senior Architect will lead and manage architectural projects from concept to handover, oversee construction documentation, ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, administer contracts, lead the Design Implementation (DI) team, and involve in office management.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertakes supervisory responsibilities for all projects from inception, conceptualization, and design to project completion.
• Monitors and manages execution of all projects through regular review of status and progress with staff from design to completion stages
• Conceptualize concept and schematic designs; Carry out feasibility studies and present design proposals;
• Prepares tender documentation, schedules and material specifications;
• Competent in construction details, and able to do design development;
• Have an intimate knowledge of Authority code and requirements;
• Monitor the status of authorities clearances / approvals
• Co-ordinate and controls drafting processes.
• Able to liaise and discuss project-relevant issues with clients;
• Able to liaise, coordinate and lead consultants and contractors;
• Able lead and manage a team of architectural personnels;

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree in Architecture; preferably registered with the Board of Architects, Singapore;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience running BIM projects;
• Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices;
• Knowledge of computer 3D and presentation programmes such as Microstation, Revit, Photoshop and Sketchup;
• Flair in design, ability to sketch fast and produce good design concepts;
• Conversant with local codes and regulations.
