About Global Payment The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.
The Fullstack team in Global Payments is committed to building a highly integrated payment product that can be easily connected to the Web, App, cross-platform and other forms of Global Payment capabilities. In addition, we provide efficient and comprehensive services to Developers, Merchants and others through a series of platforms.
As a member of the Fullstack team, you will have the opportunity to use cutting-edge technologies to solve a variety of problems, including Web, iOS, Android technology, cross-end technologies such as Flutter, React Native and also Node.Js, Golang and other server-side languages provide services to a large number of users. Our engineers are able to deepen their expertise in building a complete knowledge system and be exposed to advanced business logic.
Responsibilities:
1. Architect and develop efficient and highly reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
2. Build modular, reusable components and features.
3. Focus on rendering performance in order to ensure superior experience for a heavy interaction platform.
4. Continuously work to bolster front-end design and implementation processes in order to improve quality and efficiency.
5. Code optimisation to improve scalability, reliability, security and performance of web applications.
6. Collaborate with product design, product management and software engineering teams to deliver best in class user experience.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline;
2. Experienced in frontend engineering, with demonstrable experience in JavaScript /Node.js/ HTML/ CSS, React/ Vue/ Angular and packaging frameworks like Webpack/ Rollup/ Babel/ AST/ Gulp;
3. Familiar with key concepts like functional and asynchronous programming, closures and types, layouts, specificity, animation, cross browser compatibility, data security and accessibility;
4. Good understanding of multi-tier application architecture and protocols, familiarity with product and software development lifecycle process;
5. Agile, quick self learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver;
6. Deeply passionate about software coding/development and building great mobile/web applications;
7. Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualification: Minimum 3 years relevant work experience from a large-scale internet business.
