· Maintenance and calibration for some of lab equipment.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate shall supervise and review the design of the Mechanical team by checking specifications, schedules, datasheets, drawings, and 3D models to ensure quality, safety, and technical standards are adhered to.
• The candidate shall produce and review all design deliverables, including design specifications, schedules, drawings, and calculations, and have a comprehensive knowledge of CAD and BIM design.
• The candidate shall review clients' or third-party designs and information to determine suitability and liaise with those concerned to obtain further information if necessary.
• The candidate shall have experience gained by delivering projects across the complete project lifecycle, from front-end engineering design (FEED) through detailed design, technical assurance, testing and commissioning, and final handover.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in water and/or wastewater treatment processes and relevant mechanical design criteria will be advantageous, by reviewing pump calculations, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, Process Flow Diagrams and technical specifications
• General experience in other discipline criteria associated with water and/or wastewater treatment, including civil, process, EICA and project management, will be an advantage.
• General understanding of client regulatory environments.
• Budget management experience will be an advantage.
• Ability to rationalize designs and produce economic plant layouts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise new erections, additions, and alterations (A&A) to existing buildings, including earth retaining and stabilizing systems, as well as specialist designs for demolition works.
• Plan and implement the project,ensuring all construction activities on-site align with the master and detailed work programs.
• Work independently and as an integral member of the Site Management team.
• Prepare, plan, and submit project-related documents such as schedules, method statements, design plans, risk assessments, monthly reports, etc.
• Supervise the execution of construction works to ensure compliance with contract specifications, construction drawings, the company’s quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices, and other contract documents.
• Coordinate and liaise with the client’s representatives, relevant authorities, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, etc., to address both technical and non-technical issues and document resolutions.
• Plan and coordinate site works while resolving drawing details and discrepancies.
• Identify potential and existing problems impacting the work schedule, offering solutions to the relevant team/department.
• Liaise with clients or consultants for site inspections and technical report submissions, ensuring all necessary records are maintained on-site.
• Assist the Contracts Department (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims from contractors.
• Attend regular meetings with clients’ representatives, consultants, and contractors to ensure project progress is on schedule.
• Establish and maintain an effective document control system, conducting reviews of detailed design drawings, project documents, and specifications.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of a Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or an equivalent field.
• At least 10 years of project or site management experience, particularly in Demolition projects.
• A driven individual with the ability to work independently and lead site management activities effectively.
• Familiarity with wiresaw cutter and waterjet cutter methods for demolition is a must.

General Description

• Responsible as Operation’s facility engineer for the development of Terminal’s new LNG Trucking facility. Incumbent shall support the Project team, ensure the Operability & Maintainability aspects of the new facility are taken care during engineering, design and construction phases. Incumbent shall also develop and execute “Ready to Operate” plans for the facility;
• Incumbent shall work closely as a team with Production Shift Teams, Maintenance Team and other Process Engineers providing process engineering expertise ensuring the Terminal and Trucking facilities operates safely, reliably and efficiently;
• Incumbent shall liaise closely with Commercial team to ensure the Terminal delivers the required services, inclusive of Jetty Operations, Gas supply and Trucking are incompliance to regulations, procedures and contractual agreements

Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent roles include but not limited to following scope of tasks and duties:

• Evaluate operations activities, make recommendations and execute continuous process improvements in the areas of operational excellence;
• Recruit, train and supervise the Trucking Technicians assigned for operating the Trucking Facility.
• Lead troubleshooting, inspections, reviews and investigations of equipment or process system to support optimisation, drive root cause analysis and formulate remedial resolution. Incumbent shall also investigate Customer’s complaints related to equipment and process systems;
• Review the adequacy of standard operating procedures(SOP) to ensure safe and reliable operations with operational design limitations, includes commissioning, operations and maintenance phases of facilities;
• Provide specific instructions to Production Shift Teams, Maintenance Team, Trucking Team and Laboratory on LNG transfer operations, trucking, stowage plans and samplings requirements;
• Liaise with stakeholders in ensuring LNG surveyor’s reports, certificates of quality are accurate and consistent as per the procedures;
• Diligently review maintenance plans, method statements and risk assessment on the process safety aspects for the maintenance work related to the assigned equipment and systems;
• Compile data and measure Terminal’s performance including service availability and efficiency;
• Undertake alarm management for assigned area and proactively drive alarms analysis to ensure robust operations;
• Take lead role for Management of Change(MOC) for facilities modification, as required;
• Participate in reviews and evaluations such as HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, SPF, 3D models, Safety Integrity Level, RAM analysis, design layout and process safety requirement in alignment with regulatory and business objectives;
• Report HSSE near miss/violation. Take an active role in HSSE activities and green initiatives;
• Assigned specific role and responsibility in emergency response;

Work Experience

• Minimum of eight (8) years work experience in process engineering function in an oil, gas and petrochemical facilities, complex utility, cryogenic or trucking facilities;
• Conversant with local/international codes, regulations, standards, best practices, equipment inspection and schedule requirements;
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, start-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of processes system in oil, gas or petrochemical industry;
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management, Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls or Mechanical systems;
• Experience in Process Simulation (e.g. Hysys/Unisim or equivalent), Design Softwares(e.g. Fisher Specification Manager, Hydraulics, PSV sizing) or other related process software an advantage;
• Experience in Engineering design analysis including preliminary design development, heat and mass balance calculation, technology evaluation and equipment selection preferred;
• Experience in dealing with consultants and contractors involved in the Oil & Gas sector, including external agencies, utilities and government organizations;
• Basic knowledge of ship-shore interface and cryogenic transfer operations an advantage;
• Capable of lead and guide technicians ensuring the works are executed safely and effectively;

Education

• Incumbent must possess a Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Process Engineering background with Mechanical and Instruments knowledge.
