Overall Job Objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be the key driver to ensure that REC Modules deliver world class leading top quality product through well controlled process and manufacturing flow, from material supplies to product deliveries.

Description:

• Understand read of 3D drawing of equipment, piping system and pipe support
• Familiar with equipment layout drawing, detailed piping drawing and isometric drawing.

• Develop MSRA for mechanical, piping construction works.
• Manage and supervisor workforce for construction works.

· Attend site visit and prepare cost estimation.

· Co-ordinating and follow up all the individual respective project team like Civil, E&I, Scaffolding, Automation, Passivation, Safety, Lifting and others.

· As a Controls Engineer you should perform a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations.

· Draft tender documents and cost estimation spreadsheet.

· Design layouts, materials and information flow, or machine placement.

· You should responsible to evaluating performance and proposing and implementing improvements new or existing systems.

· Present final figures and unit rates to management.

· Submit tender documents and attend clarification meeting (if requested by client).

· Attend project/ safety meeting with client/sub-contractor/internal and prepare minutes of meeting.

· Prepare overall construction detail schedule for the project.

· Plan, coordinate and execute the job to meet the schedule and quality requirements.

· Prepare / review of project specification, P&ID and material take-off.

· Handling all technical queries and investigating all work-related problems and coordinating with client/sub-contractor/supplier to clarify the problems.

· Ensure the Safety, Productivity and Quality of the project.

· Prepare Method of Statement (MOS), Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Project Schedule and other working procedures.

· Ensure the installation / erection works meets the specification and requirements.

· Liaise with QA/QC personnel and ensure all the works comply with the requirements.

· To carry out inspecting and rectifying any unsafe practices and unsafe place of work.

· You will oversee the safety and job/ project operation.

· Prepare weekly / monthly progress reports/ safety reports/ manpower reports etc.

· You are to direct, guide and manage all tasks under your charge and ensure it is carried out in the most creative, efficient and professional manner to the best of your ability.

• Able to interpret electrical circuit and mechanical drawings including pneumatic and hydraulics system

• Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Min 1 year experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment
• 2-3 years experience in production machinery and industrial equipment
• Possess good written & spoken communication in English

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design of commercial, residential, industrial buildings in precast.
2. To liaise and coordinate with consultants and main-contractor on project details and resolving technical issues.
3. Accountable for the preparation and completion of precast shop drawings with specific time and meets all clients’ requirements.
4. Accountable for accuracy and updating amendments to precast shop drawings.
5. Attend meetings with consultants and main-contractor as well as site meetings.
6. Manage drafting staff and check drawings to ensure compliance with design concept.
7. Manage, plan and schedule projects, shop drawings for submission and production.
8. To liaise internally with coordinator and production on submission/issuance of shop drawings any technical issue and keep them updated of any revision.
9. Conduct review on details of design to ensure the accuracy of shop drawings produced.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from recognised University.
2. 3 years working experience in construction design.
3. Familiar with design analysis software such as Etabs, Prokon etc.
4. Good communication skills.

Pre-requisites :

• Certificate in Autocad and familiar with BIM is an advantage
• Familiar with design drawing (architectural/structural)
• Ability to do quantity take off
• Able to use CAD tools & 3D for design drawings including 3D models
• Design concepts, images and materials for project presentation
• Familiar with sketchup 3D and Vray Rendering
• Other Technical Skills such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
