• Set up and operate various In-situ machines for precision work
• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the in-situ crankshaft repairs and maintenance
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians and machinists in performing in-situ crankshaft repairs and maintenance.
• Perform tasks both on-premises and at customer sites, which could be local or international.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and documents to find repair solutions.
• Complete jobs within the shortest possible time frame and coordinate all aspects as directed by the Department Manager
• Regularly update your manager on manpower schedules and project progress. Clear communication ensures that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Conduct machine tool preventive maintenance as needed.
• Use all prescribed safety equipment and comply with OSHA rules

Task and Responsibilities

• Read and understand technical specifications, prepare job-list, work schedule, plan material take off and manpower planning of yard men and contractor for each given jobs. Report department head and update any special materials for specific project (if require more lead time or needs to purchase from overseas)
• Advance planning man and materials, including all facilities.
• Generate, Control and monitor department budgets.
• Order the material required as per material take off and co-ordinate with purchase department for timely delivery of the materials
• Cooperate with project manager on appropriate procedures and schedule to complete the job.
• Ensure safety, discipline and welfare for all subordinates.
• Carry out trade work as per specifications and to the satisfaction of the owner/class & timely completion. Ensure good quality work as per work instructions. Ensure all trade work mark-up drawings to be made and approved by owner’s representative
• Maintain good housekeeping and Safety at all times on board vessel & workshop. Ensure all workers follow safe work procedures at all times
• Responsible for minimum wastage of materials and balance material to be accounted and returned to store at the end of the project.
• Prepare, setup and review department documents (RA, SOP, Internal & External auditing, OR) with supervisor and manager
• Lead group of supervisors, fitters and sub-contractors.
• Ensuring optimum work processes and equipment utilization.
• Understand all jobs given supervise and give detail instructions to subordinates and contractors report to department engineer or department head.
• Ensure all work completion reports will be done by Ship in-charge, verify & submit to owner Rep to get sign before handing over to commercial department on time (before vessel delivery)
• Monitoring vessel daily job deployment report to achieve target on time.
• Perform other related jobs as assigned by DH.
• Ensure Permit to work system is followed strictly.
• Identify parts and components needed for repairs or replacement and to liaise with regional vendors for replacement of critical spares for vessels.

Job Description

• Develop detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for piping systems, ensure proper pipe support design based on piping loads, thermal expansion, and seismic considerations.
• Identify appropriate materials, ensure material compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and local regulations.
• Work closely with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure piping systems are integrated seamlessly with other systems
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of piping systems
• Prepare piping-related project deliverables including technical drawings, specifications, data sheets, and material take-offs
• Liaise with suppliers for quotation and technical evaluation of quotation. Review and approve piping construction drawings, isometrics, and support drawings
• Lead piping design reviews, coordination meetings, and vendor technical discussions
• Manage piping engineering scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring project milestones are met

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Piping Engineering
• For degree holder, minimum 5 years of experience in piping design and engineering. For Diploma holder, minimum 8 years of experience is required.
• For senior position, candidate must have at least 10 years of experience, including leadership or project management experience.
• Strong expertise in piping materials, piping arrangement, stress analysis, and design of piping systems
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• Knowledge of international and local standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, BS EN, PUB Singapore guidelines)
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as Navisworks, Bentley View, AutoCAD, piping engineering software, and MS Office

Job Description

• Prepare and review the design of the Mechanical Works, such as piping & equipment drawings, calculation and data sheets
• Involve in daily coordination with internal C&S and BIM team to resolve all the clashes, penetration etc

Requirements

• Min degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. Working experience in water or wastewater industry will be an advantage
• Familiar with Auto CAD, Mechanical, Structure drawings and Microsoft Office
• Experience in design, installation, testing and commissioning of the mechanical works e.g. pipings, pumps etc
• Experience in Project Execution, Project Coordination, Supervising and Coordination with sub-contractors, consultant, and Client
• Good technical knowledge in understanding the Mechanical System
• Well versed in BIM software i.e. Bentley and Navisworks
• Team player with good interpersonal skills

• Lead the team in executing electrical work during the construction phase, including cable tray installation, cable pulling, panel installation, cable termination, and testing/commissioning for MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, DCIS/HMI, etc.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design documents.
• Manage a team comprising supervisors, sub-contractors, and vendors.
• Responsible for electrical interfaces with the operational team, conducting meetings, and providing technical clarifications.
• Investigate and troubleshoot electrical switchgear faults or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze and enhance equipment reliability to prevent recurrence, collaborating with operation groups and external contractors.
• Prepare documentation for maintenance work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and utilizing appropriate Method Statements and Risk Assessments, meeting BCA requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems, equipment, and rooms align with internal customers' needs.
• Review inspection and testing plans for electrical and instrument system installations through relevant checklists.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth completion of projects.

• Programming, testing, commissioning, and handover of Electrical Systems (22KV Switch gears & transformers, protection relays, and hipot)
  Prepare and maintain all required commissioning documentation which includes client submission.
• Supervision and Monitoring of defined test procedures start-up sequences, reliability test runs, and performance tests.
• Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment to prepare the equipment for the first start-up.
• Manage and supervise a team of experienced commissioning technicians to execute Live equipment testing in a highly professional and safe manner
  Ensure QAQC integration within commissioning processes and procedures.
• Witness and provide contractor resources to support FAT as required.
  Preparation of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports, and site correspondence.
• Liaise closely with the client QAQC/Testing teams.
• Generating MSCR's (Maintenance System Change Request) at the project handover stage.
• Ensure that commissioning acceptance criteria is aligned with design specification and client requirements.
• Any other duties required by the Commissioning Manager.
