JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Participate in requirement gathering, design, and development processes

· Develop programming codes, identify, and resolve issues

· Contribute to system integration testing, user testing support, performance testing, etc.

· Produce specifications and user documentation for software applications

· Provide day-to-day support for major system applications

· Drive continuous improvement in processes and practices through new ideas, concepts, methods, and technologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Higher diploma or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines

· Experience in various software development projects

· Solid expertise in application design and development using C# ASP.Net (Required), Lambda Linq Query in C# (Required), SQL server, MS.Net, VB.Net, Oracle, Basic HTML and CSS.

· Good communication skills in English and Chinese for interaction with Head Office and overseas Chinese-speaking customers

· Willingness to travel with short notice when required

· Preference given to candidates able to start work immediately or with short notice.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other members of the team to develop software solutions to grow the P&L
• Design, develop and own high-performance solution stacks
• Maintain, monitor, extend and optimize existing trading systems
• Contribute to the firm’s technical roadmap
• Contribute to inter-team and cross-team efforts to ensure success of the business
• Provide L3 support for production issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar disciplines
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Good communication skills
• Interest in financial markets (with at least a basic understanding of cryptocurrencies)
• Must be able to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Good grasp of software engineering principles
• Ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical tasks
• Good understanding of low-to-high level testing and performance optimization principles, statistical performance measuring and test-driven development approaches
• Understanding of low-level performance tuning concepts (e.g. microprocessor architecture, Linux kernel, networking, blockchain architecture)
• Experience working on high performance, low latency trading systems is a must
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ preferred
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL (e.g. Redis, Mongo, Timescale) is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that development meets project and design/maintenance requirements using C++ language.
• Manage the software building and system development process in a structured, planned, and controlled manner, in accordance with the established system development methodology, to ensure timely and appropriate project delivery.
• Interface with end-customers to understand system needs
• Translate user requirements into software design
• Document write-up, including design manual, operation manual, test cases and software manual.
• Design and develop secure applications, either standalone interfaces or server-side programming.
• Work with team members for software development and integration and testing to meet delivery.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure application availability.

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field of study
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development.
• Good in UX and UI design. Good to have some experience using Photoshop.
• Experience in software applications. Able to do both frontend and backend.
• Strong in C++ language.
• Good to have knowledge on QT framework (C++) and MSSQL.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
