Requirements

· Proficient with Schneider / Siemens / Allen-bradley software

· Well-versed with SCADA and HMI

Job Description

• Online and Offline Partial Discharge Measurements for HV electrical assets such as cables , transformers, switchgears , motors and generators
• Offline Cable testings (Hi-pot test, Megger test, Tangent Delta test) above 6.6kV rated Cables
• Infra-Red Thermography for HV and LV Switchboards
• Lightning protection and earthing system measurement.
• Assist to servicing maintenance work by project teams.
• Handling of multiple test equipment from Omicron, Doble Engineering,Qualitrol, IRIS Power, EA Technology, HVPD, PDS, B2 and IPEC

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for the installation, technical support and maintenance of software applications that help customers manage their manufacturing processes and improve production efficiency. He/She should have a deep understanding of the application's functionality and backend. He/She is responsible for interacting with the application users and setting up, and onboarding of the users. He/She collaborates with the sales team to promote products and services to meet customers needs and requirements. He/She is also familiar with the relevant software platforms on which the solutions are deployed and uses critical thinking skills to identify and solve problems. The job requires being on standby with on-call availability and travelling to overseas customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a project or test cut for Aerospace and PM part
• Doing time study and making a fixture concept for Aerospace and PM HV part
• Provide machine operation training to customers.
• Provide on-site technical support to for pre sales activities
• Actively visiting customer for post sales support
• Preparing Aerospace sample for sales usage
• Runoff for HV PM
• Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.

1. Assist project manager with day to day on-site monitoring, project implementation and scheduling.

2. To schedule, co-ordinate, implement and manage projects- in part or wholly- to ensure timely work progress, goods or services delivery on schedule, while taking into account the budgeted qualities and cost.

3.Ensuring that work is carried out according to approved plans, regulations and contract specifications.

4. Accountable for the safety and quality of the project.

5.Conduct project progress meetings, as well as reviewing schedules.

6.Manage the project team’s training.

7.Liaising with consultants and sub-contractors.

8.Prepare method statement, proposal, test plan, acceptance plan and timeline schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager as the case may require.

9. Accountable for preparing weekly/ monthly progress reports.

10.Ability to read AUTOCAD / Schematic preferable.

11.Perform ad hoc duties as assign by superiors.

5.25 days work week, alternate Saturday.

8.30am to 6pm.
