MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP MM/WM projects from initiation to post-implementation support, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather business requirements and design SAP MM/WM solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed analysis of existing supply chain processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
• Configure and customize SAP MM/WM modules to meet business requirements, including material master data management, purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
• Define and implement warehouse structures, including storage types, storage sections, storage bins, and storage unit management, to optimize warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, cleansing, and transformation, to ensure smooth transition from legacy systems to SAP MM/WM.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of SAP MM/WM solutions.
• Provide end-user training and support during the implementation phase and post-implementation to ensure successful adoption of SAP MM/WM systems and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and system defects related to SAP MM/WM modules, working closely with technical teams and SAP support to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
• Stay current with SAP MM/WM best practices, industry trends, and advancements in technology, and proactively recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize supply chain operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM/WM, configuration, and support.
• Fluency in English is a must. Chinese or German is an advantage.
• Soft skills – Stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, change management.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM/WM modules, including experience with submodules such as material master data, purchasing, inventory management, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
