This in-house capability needs to be able to extend, customise, configure and integrate these systems to meet the ongoing needs of the business. The Core Platform Software Engineer will:

• Good knowledge of real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, ThreadX)
• Proficient in programming in C and C++
• Comfortable working with the command line
• Experience developing tests (unit tests, integration tests, etc.)

It is a bonus if you:

• Have experience developing embedded software for satellite payloads
• Have experience working with Robot Operating System (ROS) 2
• Have experience developing for FPGAs
