Job Scope
Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms (MS Active Directory, Exchange, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows, VMware, and UNIX servers).
Manage and support Storage systems, including vulnerability remediation, capacity management, configuration management, provisioning and zoning of new servers using SAN switches.
Analyse backup software performance accordingly to meet client needs and monitoring of scheduled backups to ensure success or take remedial action for failures
Provide backup system data statistics to management.
Perform regular DR (Disaster Recovery) test plan of backup data restoration and storage replication availability.
Monitor usage and performance of storage and perform capacity planning for storage growth to management.
Manage storage and backup changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties.
Ensure service levels meet requirements. Propose and implement action plan when required.
Expected to work during off-peak hours on system activities (e.g. patching, upgrade)
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
Be able to effectively operate within set guidelines, policies and procedures, and able to execute instructions with minimal supervision

Who we are looking for
Degree/Diploma in Computer Information system or related field

Scope

As the Staff Embedded Software Engineer at Ambiq, you will drive the development and testing of AmbiqSuite SDK on Ambiq SoC devices and emulation platforms.

This role will work within our global MCU software development team and will work closely with architecture team and local MCU SoC design team, focusing on MCU software development and test activities.

A successful candidate should be a fast-learning, result-driven, and self-motivated team player with an “always learning” mindset. He should have an inquiring spirit and be comfortable in a lab environment and in executing hands-on debugging for embedded systems.

The person in this role will be responsible for extending the hardware adaptation layer (HAL) and device drivers of the SDK to new platforms as well as enhancing its features and content. The candidate will be involved in the extension of the SDK to cover new MCU members of the family as they become available.

Responsibilities

• Work with our software architects to define the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and board support package (BSP) of the SDK.
• Design, develop and maintain HAL interfaces for MCU common blocks, such as Cache, MPU, TCM, MRAM/Flash, clock, power and MCU control etc.
• Design, develop and maintain examples and software testcases for MCU common blocks.
• Take a key role in the pre-silicon verification on FPGA, as well as post-silicon bring up, verification, and debug focusing on MCU core and common blocks.

Requirements

• MS in ECE or Computer Science and 6+ years of experience or BS ECE/CS with 8+ years of experience;

Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. With manufacturing cost multiple times lower than companies using a traditional robotic arm, our robots have an ROI in weeks. Our robot is also small and simple to use, operating from a single button without the need to upload floorplans or do any complex setup. Your internship would revolve around real-world industry deployments taking us from a TRL of 7 to 9. You may be remunerated with a combination of salary and share options. The following tracks are available, you would probably be doing a couple of them up to your preference, with examples of what has been done by previous interns:

1) (Software) Create new data generator for object detection (ideal is some experience with Blender/Unreal/Unity)

2) (Deep Learning and Machine Learning): Train, and evaluate our computer vision model fine-tuned on synthetic data on a real-world test set.

3) (Deep Learning engineering): Go through the list of researched libraries, use them to integrate the model into ROS2, and evaluate (compute) performance. Test performance uplift on low-power DL co-processors.

4) (algorithms) Write an algorithm to turn object detection bounding boxes in pixel space to 3D space using known constraints (baseline algo already researched). Turn it into a ROS2 node.

5) Robotics DevOps & Real World Industry Trials (must be in Singapore)

• Understand the whole project and run our ROS2 stack on real HW.
• Create reproducible testing methodology and evaluate metrics on the HW.
• Be in charge of the robots on the construction site.
• Explore and procure new parts/new materials for robot functionality improvement
